1. How did you first come up with your muse’s backstory, if you did at all?
A lot of just.. sitting and thinking. I wanted to come up with something that matched Lydia’s few in-game habits and ended up just kind of running with it once I got a general idea. Her undying loyalty, her habit of getting in the way and ruining sneak attempts (lol), her inability to use magic, etc. I wanted all of those to be viable with my character, but also to make her interesting enough for other people to want to get to know.
5. What song reminds you of your muse’s backstory?
I am.. not a very musical person. I like it, but I don’t even listen to music every day and I don’t generally think about how different songs apply to different scenarios so.. I really don’t know. I think I have a few songs that in the moment reminded me of Lydia or some of her ships in the Music tag, but idk if any of them apply to her backstory.

Hmmm. A half finished sword. A really old, ragged, but comfortable looking chair. Rope burns.

10. In what ways has your muse’s backstory shaped them as a person?
//Oh jeez, lots. Her relative isolation as a child with a lot of people so close by caused her to crave company. Her failing to save someone she love fed into her resentment of magic and intensified her habit of rushing into things. Having a modest upbringing taught her both a craving for self-indulgent pleasures as well as a respect for hard work.
