The Prince & The Protector || Maleficent & Thor
Thor was about to correct her that he wasn’t mean when she mentioned Balthazar. “I am not afraid of —- what is a Balthazar?” He yelled at her until he realized he didn’t know what or who Balthazar is. “I just wanted to catch something to eat for my father. We are on a family trip to Midgard.” He said petulantly, but he could see she wasn’t a girl, at least not by Asgardian standards. She was unlike any girl he’d ever seen before and she had wings! He pointed to them. “What are you then?”
Little Thor took a cautious step forward to inspect such wings. “Are you part bird?” The little boy was too distracted by her wings that he forgot her pleas to loose her from the net.
Of course the boy claimed that he wasn't scared. That was only because he hadn't seen him yet. " You don't have to shout, I'm right here." Maleficent looked at the boy as he asked of Balthazar. She bobbed her head slightly as a knowing smile appeared. " Who is Balthazar? He is the biggest and scariest Guardian of all. When you see him you'll be very afraid." Her captor went on about what he was doing here and what he had been doing. " Well you certainly won't find anything edible here. You should just leave."
A confused look crossed her soft features. Midgard? Whatever that place was, they were not there. " What s' a Midgard? I think your family is lost." This boy was beyond strange and very nosy. Next he pointed at her wings. It was as if the boy had never seen them before. Where was he from? When he asked his question she sighed. " I told you that already! I'm a girl!" With puffed out cheeks she looked away from him.
Maleficent narrowed her eyes as he took a step forward. Again he asked her a question. " I'm not part bird 'ither. Have you never seen a fairy before? Or a bird? Birds don't have horns you know." She shifted beneath the ropes for a moment. " There I have answered your questions. Now release me, it's not polite to deny a ladies request."
