Just finishing some winter break reading/annotating. One resolution of mine should be to stop procrastinating! Haha! Luckily, I have tomorrow off! Gives me a final day to finish! Don’t procrastinate guys! It will get you nowhere!
When you’re trying to study… but cats.
ALWAYS.
my finished chemistry revision. first time working with a mindmap style but I really like it and I managed to condense a ridiculous about of material onto on A4 page. this is the photocopy by the way, I think I’m going to cut it up into flashcards maybe
Just look at her now though.
In the first movie, she was white as a sheet, with fake colours, hair and emotions.
She looks more natural in the second movie because Katniss and Peeta inspired her, and she felt close to them. Now that they’re being ripped away from her, she doesn’t love the Capitol enough to smile.
She’s burning with fear and anger and sorrow.
now this is what i call minor character development at it’s finest
I LITERALLY CANNOT JUST SCROLL PAST THIS POST IT’S PROBABLY THE TENTH TIME I’VE REBLOGGED IT TODAY NO JOKE
1.4.15 || first day back at school and i’m already planning for exams in two weeks! this is my bullet journal for the week, loving all the inspirational photos that i taped in!! hope you all are having an amazing first day back, good luck to everyone!! xox
Back to school! I had such a hard time getting up this morning, but I spend my morning useful by preparing for my afternoon lecture and working on a presentation that I have to give on Thursday. In the afternoon I had a productive workgroup + lecture. I replied to some e-mails/messages that had been waiting for me waaaay too long and now I’m off to work out 💪
In the pictures you can see my new bookshelves and the first full weekly bullet journal spread of 2016! It’s not completely filled in tho…
On another note, I had my first coffee in weeks today and it reminded of why I stopped… never again! ;)

it’s been a pretty smooth transition back into school with spare, especially since i’m forcing myself to be productive. because if i’m productive, then i become smarter, and if i’m smarter, i’m more interesting, and i promise that this all leads back to bobby, my forever lover.
looking forward to my smoothie bowl tonight tbh 🍌🍊🍓
back at it | jan. 4 | ✨
thanks to @theorganisedstudent for the help in turning the mess on the left into a page of to-do’s and deadlines that I can actually understand! I’m feeling more and more confident by the day that I’ll be able to get all this done on time :)
12:25pm 1 / 4 II planning january’s setup in my bullet journal
1.4.16. Found a psych study guide for next semester, so I took some notes! I haven’t ever tried using a graph paper notebook for notes before, so I’m trying that out. (notice my extremely lacking winter break handwriting)
4.01.16 {13/100}
I got some Sakura gelly roll pens today! They aren’t my favourite go to pens but there weren’t any other coloured pens in the store..I remember when I was obsessed with them before 😝
used the new year as an excuse to (finally) start a bullet journal!! i’m still on holidays until march so i probably won’t do daily spreads much, but i’m really liking bullet journaling so far
featured above are some pages i’ve done so far: 1) the one where i’ll put contact info + the key, which i put in a sticky note because i’ll probably end up changing it according to my needs, 2) half of the yearly overview, where i marked holidays, birthdays and a couple movie release dates cause i’m a superhero nerd, 3) new year resolutions + some rules to live by that i found really good and inspirational!, 4) january - to be filled - overview, with a habits log and monthly tasks

04/01/16 | I go back to school tomorrow, and I made a start on an osmosis mind map for my biology mock this month! I’m slightly obsessed with the colour blue.
Visual Learner or not, mindmaps can be a great way to write out notes or revise. Personally I use mindmaps to revise notes for an exam! Mindmaps can sometimes be confusing to make, so let me lay it out in a few steps:
Materials
- Paper - Notebook or Loose Sheets; generally blank paper is better for mindmaps.
- Pens - Muji’s Smooth Writing Gel Ink Muji’s Gel Ink Pens (0.5) Staedtler Triplus Fineliners are my faves!
- Markers/Highlighters -Sharpie Markers (although they do bleed!) Muji Highlighters Zebra Mildliners
- Ruler
Layout
- Keep it Simple
- Stick to Bullet Points
- Have 3 Main Colours
- Space it out
- Include diagrams if you need
- Include post-it notes for extra information
The layout I usually follow:
Usually my bullet points would go under each title. Try to keep it as neat as possible! It will make it easier to study.
Tips
- If you dislike writing on blank paper, place lined paper behind the sheet when you’re writing so you can see the lines and keep your writing straight.
- If you’re a visual learner, include more diagrams, perhaps even use them instead of Titles.
- If you’re using Sharpies, place a blank page behind so it won’t bleed onto the next page or onto the table
Revising
- When you’re not directly studying one of your mindmaps, stick them up around you! You’ll look at them and learn from them without realising.
- Cover them up and test yourself on them
- They’re perfect for last minute prep before an exam
- You can read over them to refresh your memory
