Hello there!

It’s been quite a long time since I’ve logged in here but in the wake of other art platforms not exactly working for me much anymore, I’ve decided to share some of my recent work here again and hopefully attract some new commission work. My other page @nekkyousagi will probably remain quiet, so I’ll just be posting to this one.

It’s been a crazy couple of years, but Usagi is still doing her best to keep going strong making art. More focused on original concepts. projects and freelance commission work in recent months, but will pop out a fan art piece or two if the inspiration hits me.

I was surprised to see my work is still getting activity here even after being absent, so thank you so much for the support! I currently have a few active platforms you can also support me from:

Going in a New Direction

Hello tumblr friends and followers. I have an important announcement that’s been a long time in the making. A lot of things have changed in the time I’ve been using this platform, and my career as a full-time freelance artist has made it more challenging to balance all the different social media I use, and the reasons I use them.

While I won’t be deleting my pages here, they will be archived for viewing. But I’ve decided not to post to tumblr from now on.

Usagi won’t be completely off the radar though. I’m still working as a character designer creating original work, commissions and custom illustrations. So If anyone is interested in contacting me for commissions or would like to see my latest artwork, you can visit my ArtStation page or Deviantart Gallery. There you’ll also find info for ordering a commission directly from me!

And you can support me by checking out original paintings, prints and more on my Etsy Shop.

I also still have future plans to open a Patreon page, once I have organized some decent content. And will be making an additional post here promoting that when it finally opens. I really appreciate all the support from my long time clients and fellow fandom friends, and want to give back in a more personal way, sharing my art techniques and behind-the-scenes while using a method that will support myself. And may perhaps support the creation and publishing of a scifi web-comic I’ve had in the works the past few years. More info on that to come.

In short, it’s been a fun time. But as time moves on so we must adapt. And while I’ll have fond memories here, sometimes to grow we must flow where the wind takes us and try new things. May all my fellow artists on tumblr keep moving forward on your art journey, as I endeavor to on mine.
