I am once again obsessing over the idea of SuperBat with old man Clark.

Lois died years ago, Jon was killed in his teens while trying to be a hero and Clark gave up on having a civilian identity and just lives in the Fortress of Solitude now. He’s trying to encourage humanity to not depend on him anymore so he really only fights when there’s a threat others can’t deal with, and even then he just helps people and leaves. He’s pretty much an urban legend of a hero until Bruce tracks him down.

Bruce trying to threaten Clark in his first meeting and Clark is not having any of it, he calls Bruce out for being insecure and disrespectful. He says Bruce has trained to fight well but he needs more training if he’s going to be a real hero instead of just a hightech thug.

Clark: You’ve trained to fight humans, but you have no training in the unexpected, Bruce.

Bruce: How did you know my name?

Clark: X-Ray vision, son. You might want to rework your mask’s design.

Bruce apologizing for his disrespect, kneeling and asking Clark to train him in being a hero. Clark agreeing mostly because he can see that Bruce is a lost hurting kid deep inside and needs someone to guide him into being a hero. I just like the idea of Bruce deciding that old Clark is the last expert he’s going to for help training him before he really becomes Batman and he treats Clark with the same respect as a martial arts master. While they still argue it’s mostly because Bruce thinks Clark should be doing more, but Clark’s learned over time that it’s best to have a hands-off approach and not try to save everyone all the time. Bruce on the other hand would go nuts if he wasn’t saving as many people as he physically can at all times.

Bruce calls Clark Sir and Clark calls Bruce Son. Bruce reminds Clark of Jon and Clark reminds Bruce of Thomas but they both know that their loved ones are lost forever and can’t be replaced.It’s just nice to have someone in that role in their life again.

Clark is still not allowed in Gotham because Bruce is trying to establish that he’s an independent hero that isn’t going to rely on outside help, but Bruce agreeing is also the only reason Clark’s in the Justice League. It’’s a Justice league where Clark is clearly the oldest and bitter and strict and everyone’s at least a little afraid of him and Bruce is the youngest but also Bruce and the only one that likes him is Clark and Bruce is really the only one Clark listens to.

Also picture Bruce playboying it up and Clark disapproving of it so Bruce asks if he’s just jealous and tries to get him to party. Grumpy old man Clark chews him out for toying with woman’s feelings when he knows he doesn’t want what they want and is just using them as cover and to stoke his ego. Bruce flirting hard with Clark after this and Clark rejecting him because he thinks Bruce doesn’t really want someone broken like him until Bruce has a serious breakdown because he’s started to think he’s not worth loving and Clark has to reassure him he’s not unloveable, Clark was just trying to protect Bruce from the pain that came with being loved by Superman (and realizes that he was protecting himself). Naturally this leads to Bruce in a silk blindfold and his wrists bound with silk being bounced on Clark’s cock, he feels like he should be trying to break free but he can’t focus.
