Daily Intake 07.25.15

Brunch

  • Coffee w/half and half
  • Scrambled eggs w/ habanero cheddar & avocado
  • 2 Slices whole wheat bread w/1 almond butter & 1 butter

Dinner

  • Baked chicken breast
  • 1/3 Cup orzo w/parmesan 
  • Kale salad w/speck 

Snacks

  • Roasted Oolong boba tea w/crema
  • 1 Cup cocoa pebbles w/almond milk

Workout

  • 15 min interval boxing w/bag
  • 1.5 Hour yoga

General comments: God please why is the weekend so short!?

Workout

  • 53 mi road ride w/ 3.2k+ ft climb 

General comments: oh jesus that was a miserable and insane bike ride. wayyy ambitious

  • 1 Chicken apple sausage

Lunch

  • Smoothie w/strawberries, raspberries, mango, spinach, kale & orange juice

Dinner

  • 4 Turkey meatballs
  • 2 fried green tomato sliders
  • 2 raw peppers stuffed w/hummus
  • 2 ground beef stuffed peppers
  • 1 small low fat brownie bite

Snacks

  • Movie popcorn
  • Sour watermelon gummies

Workout

  • Rest day

General comments: I finally saw Trainwreck tonight - so good. I feel like Amy Schumer’s inner monologue is mine...when she fights with Bill Hader I’m fairly certain I had said those things two nights prior.

  • 1/2 Cup pork w/ 1 Cup Rice
  • Salad w/mushrooms & heirloom tomatoes

Dinner

  • Spicy rice noodles w/veggies & tofu
  • 1/2 slice vegan carrot cake

Snacks

  • Dark chocolate almonds
  • Peanut butter pretzels

Workout

  • 1 Hour Yoga

General comments: Went to a concert tonight...we found a vegan restaurant near the venue that was really good - but the dessert definitely take the cake

Lunch

  • 2 Slices whole wheat toast with homemade almond butter w/ a little honey and nutella
  • Lime Citrus Turkey Jerky
  • 1 Apricot

Dinner

  • 1 Slice leftover Little Star Pizza
  • Mixed green salad w/ leftover roasted chicken

Snacks

  • 1 Chocolate Chip Quest bar

Workout

  • 45 Min Spinning

General comments: Got a massage after work today...seriously necessary.

  • 1/2 Cup Roasted cauliflower, red potato, lentils

  • Chicken Pad Kee Mao
  • Spring Roll

Snacks

  • 1 Pecan Coconut Awesome bar

Workout

  • 1.2 Hour Climbing

General comments: My climbing partner is back in the gym...he was off for a while and definiteyl was bummed that his strength wasn’t where it left off...we both have a lot of work to do to make up for downtime...

  • 1 dark chocolate s’mores bark
  • 1 Dark Chocolate chip Quest bar

Workout

  • 1 Hour cardio combat

General comments: I’m fairly certain that I reinsured my right knee at crossfit last week. The area around my knee is kind of numb and my lower quad is super tender (beyond “sore”). I think it’s a minor injury...like a strain or tiny tear but it’s definitely there. No more Crossfit til I’m healed...I’ll stick to my other activities.

REALLY not convinced on crossfit. Maybe it’s because I’m injured, but I don’t know.

  • Hot wings

  • Trader Joe’s sour gummies

Workout

  • 1 hour weights (arms & abs)

General comments: Alright...today ‘s Derek’s birthday so we went out for pizza and ice cream...duh....and it was fuckign delcious. back to the grind tomorrow

Workout

  • 4 mile run

General comments: My run was more like a sad shuffle...I’m STILL sore from crossfit. It’s all nice to get shredded and shit...but I hate how I’m pretty much taken out for days after...

Anyway...derek’s birthday weekend continues with some sinful eats...

  • Turkey burger on whole wheat toast w/habanero cheddar & avocado, mustard & ketchup
  • Mixed greens w/tomato, avocado, oil & vinegar

Snacks

  • 1 Ice cream cupcake (Derek’s birthday!)
  • 1/2 Cup Cryo cookies & cream ice cream
  • 3 mini hotdogs

Workout

  • Rest day.

General comments: Work emergencies prevented me from going to Crossfit again. Super pissed at that. In retrospect, I can barely walk from Thursday’s session
