Here they are in all their glory: my favorite reads of 2017! YES I know there’s a lot of them, but in my defense, I read 80 books this year! And I got lucky with a lot of phenomenal books! Each of these have made a lasting impression on me in one way or another and I highly recommend them. I’m not ranking all of them, but I will say that my top five would be: 1. A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab 2. Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor 3. The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne 4. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas 5. A Million Junes by Emily Henry But I truly adore ALL of these so much. P.s. shoutout to @bookofthemonth for their fantastic taste in literature- look how many of my favs came from them!!!!! Did y’all meet your goals in 2017? What goals have you set for 2018 or are you gonna wing it? I have to set goals for motivation! It helps me! Anyway I hope everyone has had a great start to the year so far! 💖 sending you all the good vibes as we head into this new year. May your 2018 be one for the books (pun intended) 💗📚🎉

So um, let me guess it straight - it is absolutely fine for white people to dress up as Native Americans, Egyptians, Geishas or do Black face for Halloween, but Santa can’t be Black? No, this is not how it works. “But Real Santa is white!” Santa Claus is a fictional character, he DOESN’T even exist! Now do me a favor and sit cho asses down, that grandpa is as adorable as one can be.
