He smiled softly and then nodded once. “Well, in that case, if anything does bother you, I’m here for you to talk to.”

she smiled then looked up as the teacher walked in. He greeted the class and handed out the test.

“Oh god.” He grumbled as he looked at the test in front of him. He had a feeling he would do alright be, well, he was dreading it regardless.

Alex bit her lip and clicked her pen before starting to write the answer to the first question.

After the test, she got up and handed in her test and sat back down.

He wasn’t even half way done by the time she seemed to finish. But, he managed it eventually and went to hand it in, before sitting down again with a groan.

he looked at him. “You okay?” she whispered, looking over at his hazel brown eyes.

“I’m alrigh, I guess, I think I did shitty at that but hey ho.” He shrugged it off and then handed her pencil back to her with a smile. “Thanks.”

she smiled at put it away on her bag. “You also just moved schools. It’s difficult to be on top of things right away.” She said, standing up at the bell rang for lunch.

“I guess.” He said with a sigh, picking his bag up and slinging it over his shoulder. “Are you staying in or going out for lunch?”

“I usually go off campus. Care to tag along?” she asked, grabbing her bag.

“I would love to.” He smiled and put his hands in his pockets.

she blushed softly and looked down and started walking. She pushed past the doors and lead him to the area she usually sat at.

He followed her, going to grab the door before she went out of it but just missing the chance and… Stumbling, just a little, then blushing and hoping no one saw.

she smiled and sat down at the picnic bench they had out front. “Its quiet over here. I really like it.” she sad

“It does seem more peaceful.” He nodded and then say down opposite her, looking around and then signing softly. “Oh, I’m Aiden, by the way, hey… I don’t think I really introduced myself.”

"I'm Alex." she chuckled, biting her lip

Shane went to work, worked with some animals.

At around 9pm he returned with his own dinner, assuming Carter took care of herself.

She still wasn’t back, was just sat there in the now dark forest listening to the last of the birds and some other nocturnal animals scuttling about. She felt more peaceful there.

Shane shot her a text, assuming she was at her normal spot.

She laughed softly and kissed his neck, nipping lightly with her teeth. “I love you too, babe, and you’re way more attractive than me.”

he rolled his eyes. “Keep on saying that.” he smiled and kept walking

“You’re gorgeous.” She chuckled softly and walked with him, enjoying the rather nice weather.

He smiled. “Thank you, Babe. After this walk I only have time to go home for an hour ten I’m off the work, okay?” he said

She nodded and smiled softly up at him. “I’m off out today anyway. But, hopefully you’ll have a good day at work.” She said softly. She missed him when he worked but, well, she worked too, it was just how life went.
