The rhythmic buzzing of the machine was meditative, the pain from the needle more a scratchy burn than anything too sharp. Draco relaxed a bit as the minutes passed, content to watch the intensity on Harry’s face as he worked. Their faces were only a few inches apart, and Draco felt Harry’s breath ghost over his inflamed skin with every exhale. 

This was such a joy to work on! Maddy really took my initial painting (the tattoo shop!) and ran with it, and came up with such a gorgeous, sexy, thoughtful piece of writing that made me laugh (and tbh fan myself multiple times while reading). Thank you for writing me a tattooed and pierced Harry Potter, and a Potioneer!Draco that just wants to kiss his roommate. You’re a star.
