Highs and lows are a part of life - personal and professional. Nobody is immune to feeling depressed. The best way to deal with your lows is to move on, do something proactive and start focussing on the next thing. You can sit, sulk and linger or you can use them as a learning opportunity and an experience of sorts. I choose to do the latter. However, Iā€™d like to say that I wasnā€™t born with this understanding. I realised this over time. (x)

ā€œI truly believe that men have as important a part to play in a world without gender violence and discrimination as women do. It is our problem, too. And not because we have mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters, because that still makes it about us. Itā€™s our problem because itā€™s a human rights issue and we are all human beings.ā€ - Farhan Akhtar addressing the UN

Anonymous asked:

Could you gif Sunny and Ayesha's kiss scene in DDD?

the current RIPs available of the movie arenā€™t very gif-material, the image is either too dark or too light, and not too clear, so i will do, but once a 720p rip is available :)

I would have friends who would party all night and they would get really upset if their sister came out. Or if they saw their sisters talk to a boy, they wanted to beat him up, whereas they were cool to talking to girls. It was so bizarre. That time I was too young to realise what was wrong with it and also this whole conversation about gender rights exists today, it didn't exist that time. Today, when I see gender inequality, it angers me which is what Mard is about.
