Marc-Andre Fleury has been w/ the @GoldenKnights for less than 24hrs and is already out w/ the youth hockey league

“I think [leaving will be] hard. This is like my home,” Fleury said. “It’ll be tough. I don’t know what’s coming and I’m glad people remember me as a good person, not just a goalie. I feel like that’s important for me.”

“I’m happy I had the chance to take the last lap with my [Penguins] jersey on,” Fleury said, “and the Cup in my hand.”

on Fleury wearing the VGK jersey: “Yeah, it’s gonna be weird. I talked to him there, texted with him a few minutes ago, I know he’s here, so. Probably not something I’m looking forward to, but it’s the way it is. He’s a great guy, did so much for our team. And yeah, it’ll be weird seeing that.”
