I found out yesterday that after 12 years, the boys in The Swellers decided to close this chapter of their lives. I met these guys when I was 15 when I booked them to play a lunch time show at my high school - which may or may not have been their first LA show. They made a bunch of Catholic school kids crowd surf, it was awesome.
Since getting into the music in this scene I've met countless bands and attended countless shows. I can honestly say that I have never met another band that was as genuine and hard working as these guys.
I love you guys and I wish you all the best in whatever you choose to pursue from here on out. Thanks for the records, the fun shows and the memories.
