DO YOU DARE OPEN THE DOOR TO DOOM?

@brothersofchaos-blog / brothersofchaos-blog.tumblr.com

This is an independent multi-muse roleplay blog loosely based on the 1987 FDS/NES game Dr. Chaos by Marionette, which didn't have a whole lot of plot to begin with. Be sure to check out the about page, especially if you have never heard of this game. Multi-fandom and OC friendly. Semi-selective.

Update!

((Yeah, I know I’ve been away for a while. I still plan on continuing this blog, but I just haven’t had a whole lot of drive to do so lately. And whenever I do, I have no idea what I’m doing, and then nothing gets done! But since it’s Halloween and all, I kinda want to at least have some fun Halloween stuff here (which I wasn’t able to do last year), and since I won’t be here for most of tomorrow, I’m going to start now! At the very least I want to reblog some cool Halloween stuff, but maybe if I’m lucky I’ll get to RP some fun Halloween shenanigans!  ...But yeah, not gonna promise that this blog will be more active, but I’m giving it another go!))

(Michael) "Hey, Finn! It's been a while! What have you been up to?"

“Oh hey! Yeah, it sure has.”

“Heh, I dunno, lots of stuff.”

Michael chuckled. "In a place like this ‘lots of stuff’ could mean just about anything.”

“You know, I was worried about you at first, being so young and getting into all sorts of dangerous situations, but seeing you still alive and well and in a good mood has got me thinking. You’re definitely one of a kind.”

“But hey, if you ever need an extra ally and I’m in the area, feel free to give me a shout! Even if it’s just pest control. Beats my usual day-to-day by a mile.”

The Device Is Finished

“Brother!” Ginn shouted excitedly to Michael. “After months of hard work, I have finally perfected my handheld portal device! This should make quick escapes a breeze!” He handed the portal device to Michael. “I even managed to find enough materials to make TWO of them, so you can, you know, do whatever. Meet people, help people, become less socially inept. How has that been going, anyway?”

“...To be honest, I haven’t done a whole lot,” Michael admitted. “I’ve mostly been helping you with your biz.”

“True. But now you can do it whenever! Just aim the gun, squeeze the trigger, and presto! Wooden door out of nowhere!”

“...Why wooden doors?”

“I still haven’t found a way to make a portal that doesn’t involve wooden doors. But oddly enough the door vanishes once you step through it. Honestly I don’t get it either. But that’s the purpose of science! To find answers!”

“I highly doubt this will actually have an answer though.”

“Yeah, probably not.”

((Whoo! I was away longer than I thought I’d be. Time flies when you’re working five days a week, apparently, and it flies even faster when you end up in a new position due to some odd retail politics. Not that I was fully against the change, mind you; it’s working out better than I expected it to. But yeah, I’m still alive. Sorry for the false start a couple months back. And sorry in advance if I still end up not being very active. Real life comes first, as always! But I do want to do this stuff more. RPing is a lot of fun, even if I don’t know what I’m doing half the time! So hello again!))
