I saw a page of Fate of the lost Princess that I haven’t seen before on Vgen! Does this mean you’re considering taking it off hiatus now? Or you’re only doing pages if someone commissions it? Or it was just used as a sample? 

Before I put Fate of the Lost Princess on indefinite hiatus I was working on new pages for it, and got roughly 5 pages of Chapter 6 finished and 10 more sketched. I particularly liked how that page of Chapter 6 had come out and figured I'd post it as an example of what I'm capable of doing in terms of a comic.

Right now I don't have plans on taking it off of hiatus as I've been busy with life, work, and college classes, but I'd like to bring Fate of the Lost Princess back in some way at some point in the future.

I promise I haven't forgotten about it! And if people do want more pages they CAN commission it, but I do promise it will return in some capacity in the future!

Thoughts on Hazbin Hotel & Hellva Boss?

I enjoyed them both. I'm not hyper fixated on them like other people nor am I hyper critical of them like the internet seems to want to be. I thought they were enjoyable for what they are, some flaws, some episodes better than others. The songs are usually a bop and I definitely think its an accomplishment that it even gets made at all, cartoons are a lot of work!

But yeah, good shows, will watch more when there's more.

I need your help

Hey everyone. I don't normally do this, and I really, really hate just asking for money if I can work for it instead, but I've hit a crossroad in my life.

On April 2nd of this year my father suffered a cardiac arrest while trying to get a standard procedure done in the hospital. His health has mostly returned to normal, however it is clear that he won't be able to live unassisted any longer. My family does not have any homes that can comfortably take him in or meet his living needs, so we need help covering for an assisted living facility.

The problem though is that this is a monthly expenditure. It won’t be a ‘one time donation’, and I understand that’s much harder for people to donate to. Genuinely and truly, even $1 a month means $1 less I have to worry about finding between me and my family.

And if you’re not comfortable with donating, then by all means, please commission me! I will work for you until either I can secure a better paying job or finances ease up somehow.

Fuck Tumblr for making me have to Opt-Out of having anything I ever made used for Ai Art.

It should always, ALWAYS be Opt-In, never fucking Opt Out. People have left their blogs idle, lost their passwords, or aren't HERE anymore to OPT-OUT.

Deviant Art did the same fucking thing but had the courtesy to change the policy to opt in. Do the same thing Tumblr. I should not have to go to every single blog individually, on different e-mails, just not have my posts used for shit-ai-art

Which was your favorite character to create?

Ooo this is a hard one to answer. Because everyone is was fun to write for in their own ways. I think I'll just name my top three favorite in terms of creation (mind you these may not even be my favorite characters just the one that is fun to make stuff with)

1) Lilith- She was so fun to come up and write for. I love her feral personality mixed with her old english-y fancy way of speak. Lilith's introduction and backstory was also the real nail on the coffin (pun intended) for showing how villainous Dominion was for people. Her entire character and backstory, along with Luci's, is so SO important to the overall story and she was really fun to write dialogue for. Su Ling Chan(she/her) did an amazing job voicing her and bringing that chaotic energy to life.

2) Noel- Noel is just really fun to torture :) And I mean that in a good way! Sam and I made sure give him enough tragicness to his character to help support the narrative we made. I have a distaste for stories that have pointless tragedies because even if "bad things happen for no good reason" there is still a point to be made in that (seemingly) senselessness. Trauma has an effect on people. Grief is processed in many different ways. Those two things effect how Noel, and us to an extent, form relationships with people. Which is why Noel is the most difficult to romance. John(they/he) did such an amazing job voicing his highs and lows for the game, I had to mute myself several times when recording some of the emotional line because I was crying!!

3)Irene- This may be a curveball but I really still love Irene as a character. Her route is so different and telenovela in comparison to all the other routes. People are really missing out on skipping her because she leaves a bad first impression when meeting but she's genuinely such a fun and genuine character despite it. She also has the most implied sex scenes when played on male mode and is possible to score a threesome with her and Ramon regardless of gender. She's got girl boss white woman energy and Vyn Vox(he/they) parodied that exceptionally while still nailing Irene's emotional moments.

Hm! Definitely an interesting question.

Much like Eros, I had a ton of fun writing Irene, so much so that she was the first character I wrote for and finished her route really early into production. She was just genuinely fun and enjoyable to create for, even if, as a result of being finished so early into production, her route feels pretty different to everyone else. Her route is the most deserving of a rewrite but even now I still love what we have for her.

After Irene it's hard to say cause all of the characters have their own appeal and different things to enjoy about them in the writing process.

Though if I had to say, I definitely think I really enjoy writing for Rosita. I have a soft spot for bubbly, happy-go-lucky characters that make situations brighter but also know how to take things serious when they need to be and have their own personal traumas to deal with. It's very relatable.

Story

So, if I may ask how much time did it take for you and Sam to figure out the entire lore of the game? I mean, the lore the game shows to us already is crazy and intriguing, but I also know there is some shady crap into it that wasnt shown yet.

A little hard to say. We had the story, general lore and its ending planned out back on 2020 but as we went along with writing we add little things to the world here and there that we thought would be cool! I wouldn't say we make it up as we go but with the right set pieces and ideas on the table it's easier to fill in the gaps when its time.

It helps some characters, like the original 6 love interests, are ocs I've had for years now so some of their core ideals/themes/lore were already established to springboard and make new stuff with!

For me personally I like to operate on the "rule of cool" in that if something I think would be cool can be justified to make sense in canon it'll be canon.
