ALRIGHT KIDS, BUCKLE UP BECAUSE I’M GONNA TELL YOU HOW THIS POST CHANGED MY LIFE

I was gonna do it in the tags, but fuck it. This is my blog and I’m not hurting anyone.

Back in early 2015 I saw this post on my dash and wondered if it was an actual YouTube video or some nonsense made up for this post so I searched, found, and watched it. Now, I never really enjoyed PewDiePie, but believe it or not I’d never heard of him before that video.

So, I was getting pretty bored less than halfway through when suddenly

“Wait… Was that Swedish, my native language?” Yes. Yes it was. I got curious and kept watching his videos, looking for something I might enjoy a bit more and found some Eviebot videos, but a few videos in I accidentally clicked someone else’s among the suggestions. I figured I’d give this other guy a chance and what do you know he was fucking hilarious.

After watching all this guy had to offer from Evie at the moment, I asked myself a third question.

“Is this guy always this angry and loud?” Not really, but he is to this day known for being very loud.

I loved Jacksepticeye pretty much immediately, but besides the now iconic HAAAAAPPYY WHHEEEEELSS I think I liked the Gmod videos the most, even though I hadn’t learned to recognise any of the voices yet. I wanted to, though. I’m not sure anymore how directly this lead to my discovery of Markiplier, but it was without a doubt thanks to Jack.

Mark, I remember, was actually an aquired taste, but that was nothing a bit of Drunk Minecraft couldn’t take care of once I found it.

Thanks to these guys and their communities I have made so many friends, met so many different people, grown as a person, realized I’m trans, and been inspired to follow my dreams and pursue my passions…

All because of this fucking post that I randomly came across that one time.
