So if you've seen the earlier post I made, I am experiencing some serious financial struggles due to being laid off in Jun 2023.

I've basically reached the end of my funds now; my unemployment ended last week, and whatever savings I had has been spent. I'm now just trying to get any little bit of income that I can, so here's where you come in. Here are a couple of ways you can support me!

  1. The ko-fi link at the start of this post. If you like my photography and my writing, and you want to show some support, I'd greatly appreciate it. None of my work is paywalled, so just consider this a way to say thanks.
  2. I sell prints over on Darkroom. If you choose this option, I'd recommend getting loose prints over framed ones; I get very little from the framed prints relative to its price.

If you weren't aware, most of my concert photography work is unpaid, or poorly paid, so it really isn't sustainable for me to make a living. While I figure out what to do next, I figure that if there's even a tiny chance that something can help, I need to try, so I'm putting this out there. Thanks in advance!

Just sharing two of my favorite photos from 2023, but I also really need to just vent a little. The past year was a trying one for me.

Photos by DeShaun Craddock turned 12 today!

A lot has happened in that time. I know that the guy who posted his random photography back then never thought he would accomplish any of the things that present-day me has. Kinda nice to think about.

June 20th was the 1-year anniversary of my girlfriend Jess' passing. A lot of memories came back: the last time we spoke, the last text she sent, how I was looking forward to seeing her the day before she died.

I was able to get through it with the help of some of her friends, her mom, and just focusing on how wonderful she was. I also decided that I was going to raise funds to donate to a charity. Cervical cancer is what claimed her life, so I decided that all my print sales for June would go to CureCervicalCancer. I would have been happy if $100 were raised, but with another 24 hours or so to go, I'm happy to announce that $662.57 has been raised. Not only that, but I'll be having my employer match the donation.

I know it's short notice, but if you or someone you know would like to get something to decorate your walls and want to support a good cause, you can hit up my print shop at https://deshaunicus.darkroom.tech. Prints ship internationally and all sales proceeds are going to charity if you order by the end of the month. There's also an FAQ on their site that breaks down exactly how much of your purchase is profit vs production costs/fees.

Thanks in advance.
