Marvel's The Punisher spin-off ordered by Netflix

It’s official: The Punisher is getting his own TV series.

EW has learned that Marvel has ordered a spin-off starring vigilante character introduced in Daredevil season 2.

Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as vengeful military veteran Frank Castle, who brings his own lethal form of justice to Hell’s Kitchen.

Writer and executive producer Steve Lightfoot (Hanniba, Casualty) will serve as showrunner.

Stucky TFIOS au: Steve is a small skinny kid who needs an oxygen tank to help him breath. He feels completely alone and depressed until he meets Bucky, an older kid in remission who lost his left arm to cancer. You know what happens next.

Modern pre serum Steve au: Steve goes to the movies every Friday. Sometimes he drags a friend with but most of the time he goes alone. He notices that there’s always this cute, smooth talking guy that sells the tickets. Steve really wants to talk to him but has no idea what to say. “Bucky, that’s an interesting name.” Steve mumbled. “Thanks pal, what do ya call yourself?” Bucky responded cheerily. “Uh Steve.” Steve blurted. Shit, shit what am I doing here. I’m messing it all up. Steve thought. “So what movie?” Bucky replied. “Uh, um what would you recommend?” Steve asked. “Captain Marvel,” Bucky stated, “But I’ve always been a fan of superhero movies.” “Oh ok, one for Captain Marvel.” Steve said. “You got it.” Bucky replied. Okay so now what room is it? Steve wondered. Steve looked down to see he has two tickets. Wait no, one is a slip of paper with a phone number and a message that says: “Call me sometime and let me know how the movie was.” His face flushed. Obviously Steve had a hard time concentrating on the movie, but regardless he called Bucky the next day. And of course they had their first date at the same movie theater. 

AU where Bucky was born in the ‘80s rather than 1917 and Steve meets him for the first time when Fury introduces him to the Strike Team. But when the events of CA:TWS go down, Bucky refuses to attack Steve and joins Steve, Sam and Natasha in bringing down SHIELD and HYDRA

Imagine Steve and Bucky never meet as kids. Steve dies from illnesses and later Bucky dies on the battlefield. They meet in the afterlife, waiting to be reborn. As they wait, they get to know each other and fall in love. Then Steve gets the notice that he’s going to be reborn and Bucky swears that no matter what, he will find him again.

AU where TJ Hammond is the reincarnation of Bucky Barnes, but TJ doesn’t realize it until after his suicide attempt and he’s having all these “dreams” that are actually memories and glimpses into Bucky’s life, and while Steve’s running his usual route around DC, he bumps into TJ and Steve suddenly feels like he’s home because ‘wow this guy looks a lot like Bucky’ and then he realizes that it is Bucky and they get together and live their lives together and Steve’s still his little punk and they still have to deal with TJ’s family because hello he’s the son of former president Bud Hammond ((and Elaine might drag Captain America into her campaign to ensure her presidency but Bucky/TJ’s having none of that - so the riff in his family only widens and Bucky and Steve move to New York to get away)) and Bucky convinces Steve to let him join the avengers so he could keep watching his back because ‘no way am I lettin’ an idiot like you outta my sight, pal, never again’ alright im crying someone write this for me

Political Animals S2 AU in which TJ Hammond meets this sweetheart little blond fine arts Students from DC named Steve, they fall shamelessly in love, have long lazy afternoons with TJ playing the piano for Steve and Steve drawing TJ, make out at the Smithsonian, cuddle in the winter and live happily ever after and sober. Misfits inspired AU

A freak thunderstorm causes teens doing community service to gain supernatural abilities. 

Bucky - He causes an accident and lost his arm. His arm grew back but it’s metallic and has super strength or multiple personalities with their own set of skills (you pick any can’t think late at night lol)

Steve - Little Stevie Rogers caught fighting for the 1000th time and the storm causes him to permanently get bigger (post-serum steve style)

Tony - Driving without a license and DUI. Can communicate with technology

Sam - Was there monitoring the teens. He can fly.

Natasha - Her kisses are literally poison. 

Bruce - (turns into the Hulk) 

Clint - He cannot miss anything he shoots. Truancy because he had to take care of his younger sibling. Father is an alcoholic. 

Thor - Violated curfew and was caught fighting at a bar. Was carrying a prop hammer which can only be held by him and gives him abilities. 

Kudos if the tesseract caused the thunderstorm.

A Steve x Bucky Begin Again AU where Bucky is a down-on-his-luck music producer who’s struggling to find inspiration again and Steve is a struggling musician who’s ex-boyfriend, Tony Stark, has rose to stardom and left him behind. They meet by accident one night at an undeground bar, where Bucky was there to drink enough to drown in his misery while Steve was pulled on stage by his friend Peggy to perform a song he wrote. Bucky saw Steve’s performance and instantly told him that he would help him produce an album. They travel around New York recording Steve’s album, which features music recorded outdoors in various landmarks around the city, and it sounds raw, nostalgic, and genuine. Along the way, they fall in love~!
