Do you ever feel like your reading predictions or theories for something and your like…these people are setting themselves up for disappointment.

Well I was thinking back on that. And why I never really get disappointed if my theories never come true which is about 70% of the time. And I think it’s because I never actually believe in them in the first place. Not really. Like I think they are true based on all the information we have available, but I don’t get to attached if it doesn’t happen.

I think it’s healthy to keep an arms length from your own theories and headcanons. It’s really hard to do this and this is a skill I have been working on for well over a decade now. But it allows me to enjoy both sides of the coin. The actual canon story and the ability to theorize on where that is going.

If you can ever master it you’ll not only enjoy canon better, but it will also allow you to enjoy fanfiction you otherwise wouldn’t if you held to tightly to your own head canon or theories.

I know this silly little goofy jokes has probably been done a thousand times over, but I am slow and I do not care (?) lol
