star war say if a kid hates sand too much its a problem for all of us but dune say if a kid LIKES sand too much it will also be a problem for us. the lesson of these two great sci fi works is that we should strive to be neutral to sand!

the social network will always be about money, greed, privilege, what happens when the wrong people get a taste of power, the awful things people (specifically men) will do for the sake of leaving their mark on a world; for the sake of being able to say they are somebody. but also….it’s about love and betrayal. it’s about friendship and the inherent romance that lingers in the unspoken. it is a lesson about putting others needs above your own. it’s about loving someone, even when they’ve got a knife lodged in your back. it’s about forgiveness and what to do when you’d rather die than say that you’re sorry. it’s about knowing someone to their core, and wondering if it’s better to give in..or to weaponize what you know. it’s about love and the agony you will go through to keep it as long as you can.
