This Chicago weather has had me tired since I arrived on wesnesday. I could sleep everyday away. Sigh...... depression season is in full effect out here. Luckily I’ll be going back to houston weather. Love it here but the way it affects my mental health is not good for me.

Dealing with the way i feel rn is nearing unbearable. Idek what to do with myself. Hate it

Jet lag is a bitch.

I come on here to basically publicly talk to myself and it is somehow quite therapeutic.

Other than being exhausted 24/7 thanks to jet lag and trying to readjust to working night shift again life has been soo good. Ive been so happy. Eva and I are getting married and it has me feeling really good about my life. I’ve already told my parents which was my biggest stressor and it went better than expected which is eh. My mom is happy for me. My dad hasnt said those words but he did reluctantly said “oh... congratulations”. Ive accepted that this is how things will be. Hopefully it will get better. Hopefully someday i will have their support and blessings but.... i unfortunately will not be holding my breath on that.

We’ll be going to the courthouse to get married prob in the next couple months. Might have a ceremony and or reception later down the line.

Really looking forward to therapy this week.

I have a lot I need to get off my chest. A lot of hurt and truths I’ve been neglecting to confront. I hate who I am rn, I want to be completely different. completely better.

I havent excerised in 4 days and i feel gross. But also too exhausted to do anything about it.

I need more sleep, but thats hard to do.

A doctor was shot to death in the medical center i work at yesterday morning. The largest medical district in the world. Im so sad to hear this news. That shit is alarming and so scary. I gotta work here! Now ppl getting killed?
