↳ “Hello’ said a vague and dreamy voice from behind them. Harry looked up: Luna Lovegood had drifted over from the Ravenclaw table. Many people were staring at her and few people openly laughing and pointing; she had managed to procure a hat shaped like a life-size lion’s head, which was perched precariously on her head.

SELENE
In Greek mythology, Selene is the goddess of the moon. She is the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, and sister of the sun-god Helios, and Eos, goddess of the dawn. She drives her moon chariot across the heavens. Several lovers are attributed to her in various myths, including Zeus, Pan, and the mortal Endymion. In classical times, Selene was often identified with Artemis, much as her brother, Helios, was identified with Apollo. Selene and Artemis were also associated with Hecate, and all three were regarded as lunar goddesses, but only Selene was regarded as the personification of the moon itself. Her Roman equivalent is Luna. X

rtd meme >> episodes [3/8] Father’s Day

I never read you those bedtime stories. I never took you on those picnics. I was never there for you. You would’ve been. But I can do this for you. I can be a proper dad for you now. But it’s not fair. I’ve had all these extra hours. No one else in the world has ever had that. And on top of that, I got to see you. And you’re beautiful.
