concept: me, lying in bed in mine and calum’s shared studio loft and calum sitting across the room strumming on his acoustic guitar, stopping every now and then to scribble in his trusty notebook. he wouldn’t realize i was awake until i started giggling quietly as he fumbled with the chords, trying to find a satisfying progression. “sounds nice with that C chord” i’d mumble sleepily as he smiled at me before replaying my suggestion and nodding as he realized i was right. he’d chuckle and put down his guitar before crawling into bed with me and nuzzling his face in my neck, murmuring “maybe you should just write my next album” and i’d giggle again while playing with his soft hair. we would be happy and life would be good.
