For The Record:

This is one of those therapeutic letters that is supposed to be written but not mailed.

For over two years, I have followed John Lloyd Young, a sweet, kind and compassionate man. It has sometimes been a roller coaster, but what a great ride!

I was a little shocked and a lot saddened by some of the comments that were made by “fans” on some of his posts to tumblr recently. How presumptuous to think that one knows what is in his heart by reading a cryptic statement he made. How disrespectful to him to have his private life discussed on social media by some who have never even met him. John deserves so much more than that.

There is a feeding frenzy every time John posts anything. It is embarrassing. I can only hope he doesn’t decide it is not worth it and gets off of social media altogether. That is our only contact with him between shows.

Let’s not forget those that profess undying love/lust for him publicly, somehow expecting to have a relationship with him. You know who you are. You are embarrassing yourselves. May I suggest a good therapist specializing in delusional behavior?

He is a man. A very kind, considerate, intelligent, talented man. Not a “plaything” for your amusement.

If you feel I have stepped on your toes, maybe you should look deep from within. Those who know me know that I shoot from the hip. I don’t know how to be any other way.

I’m usually not quite this brash, but that is a result of holding this in way too long. This is my tumblr page and I hope you will respect my right to express my opinion.
