Having to step away from close friends is a very hard decision to make, but I guess being an adult means doing what is best for you in the long run.

"internalized misogyny is just something feminists made up to hold back other women who disagree with them"

Manslation: Being my subservient, compliant childcare provider, cook, housekeeper, and* baby incubator, whose entire sense of self-worth is based on how much I want to fuck her, is every woman’s true ultimate goal! Nay—her basic human right! Stop confusing these classy ladies away from what we all know is proper, you selfish feminists. >:[

* Where applicable. But, let’s be honest, this is probably the sort of person who considers a uterus to be a necessary piece of equipment on a woman.

Avatar

Well a uterus is a necessary piece of equipment to be a woman. That’s what woman means.

No. No it is not.

Literally, can someone explain to me what it feels like to be a woman? Because if biology is not an appropriate way to define women, please, for the love of god, explain what it feels like to be a “woman” Give us something to argue with

I wouldn’t hold my breath for an answer. They never have one

“Um um…liking makeup, wait, no, shit. Dresses? Uh…I’m submiss-oh darn, i really like domestic chor- fuck, i, i…you piece of shit transmisogynist, oh dare you!!!1!!”

You know, as someone who grew up in America (an inherently transmisogynist society), there are inevitably transmisogynist thoughts and behaviors I have that I need to consciously acknowledge and dismantle as they come up. It is not for me to say “I’m not a transmisogynist” because no matter how much I openly love and support trans women, the closest I can come to that truth is to continue to WORK toward it every day.

That said, have you considered FUCKING OFF? You’re not welcome. Your transmisogyny isn’t welcome. Your TERF-y, disgusting bullshit isn’t welcome. And frankly, it’s insulting for you to assume that Mod M, or I, or anyone else defines womanhood by any of the things listed in your pathetic attempt at a joke up there. I have absolutely no patience for you today. BYE.

But like…you still havent told me what feeling like a woman is, we’re all waiting.

Aww guess what? The way I feel about my gender or the way that trans women feel about theirs is none of your fucking business!! You aren’t some grand gatekeeper of womanhood and I don’t know where you think you got the right to interrogate people about what’s in their pants. Not one single fucking person needs to prove to you they have a fucking UTERUS, since that seems to be your incredibly simplistic, both trans- and cis-exclusionary goalpost. Not one person needs to explain their humanity or their identity to you, either. You aren’t owed any kind of explanation, not even the one I’m currently offering you. So again, I encourage you to take my advice from before and fuck off because we truly, truly do not want or need you here.

Women like to believe that they are “intelligent” for earning a degree when really, most women earn degrees in enlist or gender studies. Id only be impressed if they earned a degree in math or technology. But most women do not

Manslation: Moving goalposts! Get your moving goalposts here! Now with free derision for even trying!

(To be fair, this was from a Forbes article back in 2010.  But Still.) Today on “making shit up to feel superior.”

Not only this - but fields like English (I assme that’s what “enlist” is a typo for), gender and sexuality studies, and the performing arts are devalued precisely because women are predominant, or perceived to be such, in those fields. Even if women DID mostly get English degrees, there’s nothing inherently valueless about an English degree. There is nothing wrong with an English degree. The disdain people have for this field - like many others - stems from misogyny. STEM fields are considered the “valid” or “real” fields now because they’re seen as male-dominated (though subfields within that umbrella, like biology, are now suffering the same fate literature/letters disciplines have, as women begin earning more Bio degrees.) Literature was considered a prestigious field a hundred years ago, but it was also one of the first women were able to break back into academically speaking (I say break “back” into because worldwide, women have always been in literature; they’ve just done their best to ignore that.) Therefore, our field became devalued… because how important could it be if a woman could do it?

I got an English (enlist) degree and every job interviewer I’ve ever met has been stoked about it, because they need people with solid writing skills and reading comprehension. Also, I do IT so it’s not as though it’s kept me from moving into other fields.
