Since this is set in the UK/Scotland area, do you think they'll make a new Pokemon based off the Lochness Monster? Or have a lake that just is full of Lapras since theyre already based off Nessy

I can see Honedge being sword exclusive and maybe Shieldon being Shield exclusive. Could see the same for karrablast and shelmet.

As a Scottish citizen, my main fear is that like all media set in the UK Scotland will get almost completely shoved aside apart from a few 'funny' stereotypes? I'm really hoping the new pokemon will have some fun monsters based on all of our myths and traditions! Hopefully a few locations too.

Someone compared the map of Galar with Britain itself, and the whole map might actually be upside down; the "north" with its massive city might be the Poke-London, with the Trainer starting way up North proper in Scotland! The big Game of Thrones wall could've instead been made by one of Galar's legendary Pokemon, or else involve another mystical reason
Yes, it has to be Britain inspired. Not the person to know a whole of a lot about Britain but that London Eye ferris wheel and the Big Ben structure next to it was pretty conclusive to me:P
Obviously it's still very early and my hopes are very high but I'm hoping for a dragon type eeveelution and a pikaclone (emolga, dedenne, pachirisu, etc) based off of a badger.

Theory: King Arthur is going to somehow be involved. It's based on BRITAIN. Their most famous legend has to inspire something. Also Detective Pikachu will show off a gen 8 pokemon.

As for King Arthur, yeah, maybe events loosely inspired by/based on his legend could happen in the game.

I got the theory that the Fire Starter is gonna be Fire/Electric and the Water type (And I wish it is) be water/ghost.
