From Palestinian poet Najwan Darwish

i hope this is alright for me to add, but this poem references a line from one of hitler's speeches ordering the genocide of polish jews. at the end of the speech, he justified the genocide by saying "who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the armenians?" in a very literal way, genocides are interconnected and used to justify one another. after all, the holocaust was partially modeled after the united states' genocide of indigenous people. this is why it is so important to remember the victims of all genocides across history, and why it is so important for oppressed peoples to stand together in solidarity.

Palestine is in need of dire aid and is on the cusp of disappearing. The UN and multiple countries are calling for a ceasefire in response to this human rights crisis. To those who would love to help but feel like they can’t for financial reasons or whatever:

You can spread the word about what’s really going on, spread information about Israel’s apartheid, boycott companies that sponsor and support Israel (such as McDonald’s, Puma, Parallel Brothers, etc…’). Be vocal even if you don’t think it’s your place. It is and Arabs have been asking others for help for 70+ years. As long as they’ve been asking for their rights, no one has been listening (which has been made very clear within the past week). Get your information through Pro-Palestinian organizations as even Google isn’t reliable. Keep talking about it and help educate people who have only been fed lies and historical revisionism from Governments and news outlets.
