“For two years, I worked with Andrew Cunanan. He was the co-worker I got along with the best, we got along famously. We would sit there on downtime and flip through Vogue magazine, we’d talk about art, culture, food, fashion. We’d have lunch together. He was one of those people who just had ‘it’, he was well liked and had a personality that just made him memorable. He was gentle and kind, the old people who came in loved him because he always had such an attention to detail in their regard. He did his job well, wasn’t the kind of guy to call in sick and never appeared to have any ‘off’ moments.”

Andrew Cunanan with his co-worker at the Thrifty Drug Store he used to work at as a clerk/back up manager #2 in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego. This photo was presumably taken back in 1995.

(The woman in the photo wrote a blog entry about what it was like to work with Andrew which you can find here.)
