I mainly practice by studying other artists or looking at refs, but I do watch a few speed paintings now and then! I don’t really study like...history of art or contemporary art (which I probably should Lmfao....)

thanks a bunch brah! for doodles i usually just do block colors and then on a separate overlay layer ill use a really saturated color (depends on what feel i want for it) and brush it over some selected "highlight" areas
