Mei looked down to him, her hand on his head as she stroked his hair. ”I see…” she said entering the inn, she ordered a warm room and some soup for the boy. ”Well since i am staying here for a extra day—you can sleep in a bed finally.” she said smiling. ”My name is Mei by the way.”

Haku remain quiet before pressing his knees to his chest while he watch people walking past him ”I hate being lonely even if I used to it..” He mutters before turning his attention to the snow that was falling from the sky

Mei had just finished her shift at the office, she was on her way home, it was rather cold out but really surprised her was a boy sitting in the snow. Kneeling down, she gently placed a blanket around the boy. ”Hey there— why are you out here alone?” she asked.

The child looks up as he blinks in surprise to see someone was actually talking to him before giving her an small smile “I lived out here since I dont have an home to go to..”

The woman frowned, slowly moving his hair bangs from his eyes. ”poor dear— well you hungry? i’ll buy you something warm to eat hm?” she suggested picking the child up in her arms, the blanket still around him. 

He blinks once more before tears was forming in his eyes as he nods smiling at the older women since he sense no hatred in her eyes as he slowly place his head on her chest “I’ll like that very much thank you..”

frowning once again, she dried his eyes clear of the tears. ”…oh I am sorry did I upset you?” she asked in a worried tone, holding him she began to walk to a nearby inn.

At the first sight of tears, Sasuke reached down and picked the kid up and started their walk back home in silence for a few before he could finally find words to explain how he felt. “I am deeply sorry for leaving you,Haku.. You don’t have to forgive me but you do have to return home with me since I am your care-giver now.”

Haku nods while he wipe his face with his arm when more tears begin to fall "It fine through I was worried you was gone for an long time so I went to look for you but has little success.." He replied with an frown on his face as he glance at the ground since he was too embarrassed to look at him

Sasuke knew he has been gone a long time, without really telling the child, and when he returned home to no Haku in the cold months.. he instantly went out to look. It wasn’t long until Sasuke found the kid, sitting in the snow back where he first found the younger one, and he draped his cloak over the small form. “Hey kid..”

He snapped out of it when he heard an familiar voice as he glance up before his eyes filled with tears seeing it was the older raven he hasn't see in a while "Sasuke...." he mutters before he touch his cheek when he notice he was crying
