Taylor, here’s a picture of our sweater!  The front of it is finally finished!  We’ve worked on the sweater for over a month now! We glued rhinestones onto sequins and glued them onto the sweater.  We’ve been coming to see you since the Fearless tour in 2010 and we can’t wait to see the 1989 tour in a few days!  We are so excited to shake it off with you on October 3rd in Toronto! Hopefully someday we will meet and be able to speak in person :)

This means so much. My elder sister has Down syndrome, and a lot of times she doesn’t feel pretty or worthy of life. But seeing Jamie Brewer do her thing and represent people with Down syndrome is so powerful. Her characters have been so substantial, exploring Down syndrome. Just because a person has Down syndrome does not mean they are lesser than. People with Down syndrome are just different. Thank god for Jamie Brewer.
