Ashley: While Josh was out with the kids, Ashley took a quick shower and got herself presentable. By the time she had gone back downstairs, her mom and sister were already in the living room. "Wow...thanks for letting yourselves in." she laughed as she pulled her wet hair up into a messy bun. The three women worked at decorating the house. When the caterers arrived, they set up in the dining room. Ashley was already exhausted and the party hadn't even started. She heard Josh come inside and turned to see him holding two sleeping kids. She quickly ran over and grabbed Noah. "Where are you parents? And Conner?" she asked her husband as they carried both kids upstairs.
Josh: Josh gladly let ashley take Noah from his arms anf cradled sleeping Summer as he headed for the stairs, nodding for her to follow. "Get this." He whispered as not to wake up the kids. "After i waited at the airport for forty five minutes, i get a text from mom. They missed the first flight and had to wait for another. Shes just going to rent a car when they arrive." He lay his daughter down in her crib gently and pulled a blanket up over her. "But, at least it gave them time to nap a little. They will be here in two hours or so. Lets just wait for them before we cut the cake, that's all i ask."

Ashley: "You better not. I'm going to need a massage tonight, mister." she smiled. "I know it will babe." she said softly. "Just think, we get to do it all again in a few months for Noah." she chuckled. Her phone buzzed in her back pocket and she pulled it out. "Shit! Is that the time? My mom will be here in twenty minutes. I've got to get in the shower!" she said, frantically. "I'll see you when you get home baby." she said, kissing him quick. She pulled her shirt off over her head as she walked down the hallway to their room. "Oh, can you bring back Coffee Bean for me? My usual?" she asked as she looked over her shoulder. "Pleasssse?"
Josh: "We will see what happenes." He teased. "Oh jeeze, dont remind me that I'm just a couple months away from having two one year olds." He chuckled. Josh turned and picked up his first child into one arm and his son into his other arm. He was Turned around at the door by his wife's voice. "Yes, ma'am. " he replied in a sarcastic tone. Josh took his children and did all the chores he was set out to do and while out, tired out the two little ones as best he could. By the time he was headed home, he had two snoring baby's in the backseat. He pulled into their driveway, parking behind her mothers SUV. "Great." He mumbled under his breath as he slipped out of his car. "They wont get much of a nap. The actor plastered a smile on his face as he carried the kids inside. "Hey, Ma." He greeted his mother in law. "I'm just going to run them upstairs."

Ashley: "I'm afraid I may be too exhausted for an after party babe." she frowned, placing her hands on her husband's chest. The actress turned her head and saw the kids playing on the floor, and smiled. She pushed Josh just outside the door and pressed her lips to his passionately. When she finally broke away, she looked up into his eyes. "I love you Joshua Ryan Hutcherson." she whispered.
Josh: "Honestly, i might pass out before you, tonight." Josh teased. He let out a soft growl as she kissed him. "Mmm. And i love you, too." He responded, looking into his wife's eyes. "Don't worry, honey. Everything is going to be fine. This party is going to be perfect and the house is going to look its best."

Ashley: Ashley struggled with the kids during their bath. They both thought it was hysterical to splash the water up and get mommy wet. After she managed to get them both washed and rinsed, she wrapped them in towels and took them to their room. She set Summer in her crib while she got Noah ready, then switched them. She had just finished getting Summer's pants up when she heard Josh. "I hope so." she said in an exhausted tone. Her hair was still dripping and her wet shirt clung to her as she stood up and got Noah out of his crib. She set him on the floor to play with Summer. She pushed her hair out of her face as she walked towards her husband. "Think I'd win the wet t-shirt contest?" she laughed. "I should go change before people get here."
Josh: Josh raised his eyebrow at his wife as he watched her. She looked incredibly sexy as a mother, especialy a wet mother. He smiled and pulled the damp woman into his arms. "Oh, i think you would dominate the wet Tee contest. Unfortunately, not really the best event for a one year olds birthday party. Great for an after party, one that only you and i are invited to." The young husband pressed his lips to Ashley's forehead. "Go take a shower, get ready and dont worry about these two. I got them taken care of. Just text me if you need anything while I'm out."

Ashley: Ashley stopped in the doorway when she heard his question. "Everything is basically done. My mom and sister are coming over in a few hours to help me decorate. My dad is picking up the cake on his way over. The caterers are bringing everything else." she shrugged, thinking. "Oh, you can take the kids with you when you go pick up your parents and Conner from the airport! Being able to set everything up without them underfoot will be a huge help."
Josh: "Alright. " he answered with a nod, wishing there was more he could do to help. He turned back to the kitchen and cleaned off the table, rinsed off the dishes and put what he could fit into the dishwasher. What wouldn't fit, josh washed by hand in the kitchen sink before wiping down the table and counters with a rag. When the kitchen was clean, the young father put the birthday table cloth out on the table and brought folding chairs in from the guest room closet. He finally met his wife upstairs and stood in the doorway to the kids room. "They ready? I figure we can leave a bit early and maybe they will take a nap in the car. At least maybe Noah."

Ashley: Ashley turned and gently shoved her husband. "Don't laugh at me. I know it had to happen, I just didn't expect it to fly by so fast." she said as she turned away from him. She knew she was being silly, but Summer turning a year old was a lot harder on the actress than she expected. All the pain, both physical and emotional, came rushing back to her. She wiped her eyes, knowing Josh hated it when she talked about that past. She finished her orange juice and got up to get some baby wipes to clean up the kids. "I'm gonna give them baths and get them ready for the day." she said as she lifted both kids up into her arms. "Could you clear the table for me? Dishwasher is almost full so please start it once everything is loaded."
Josh: Josh instantly felt guilt wash over him. "Babe, im sorry. I'm in denial, myself." He shrugged. "Im just trying to keep my head, too." When his wife picked up the kids, he offered a nod. "I will. What else do we need for the party? I can go to the store, i can decorate. What do you need me to do?"

Ashley: From the moment she woke up, Ashley was in a weird mood. Her baby girl was a year old today. Sitting at the breakfast table with her husband and kids, tears filled Ashley's eyes. "How is it possible that she's one today? I'm not ready for this."

A long weekend
Ashley: Ashley relaxed back into her husband, letting her muscles go limp. She took a deep breath and kept her eyes closed as she laced her fingers with his beneath the water. After a few minutes, Ashley got restless. Between work, the kids, and her husband, she was always on the go. She didn't really know how to just relax and do nothing. The blonde took a deep breath and sat up. She spun herself around and faced him in the tub, wrapping her legs around him and pressing her body against his. "Mmm...much better." she smirked before kissing him.
Josh: Josh felt his wife squirming im his arms, and opened one eye to see what she was doing. He laughed and ooened the other eye when she spun in his arms, lifting his head up to.lool at her. "You are so cute." He chuckled before their lips met. Josh slid his hands down her back and took both ass cheeks in his palms, giving them a firm squeeze. "Can i help you, mrs. Hutcherson?"

Ashley: Ashley looked up at her husband and smiled. "I really like that idea." she said as she began to sit up. "Bubbles?" she asked as they walked into the bathroom and she started the water. Once they were both in the water, she leaned back against her husband, and rested her head on his chest, closing her eyes. "Mmmm...I could get used to nights like this." she murmured happily.
Josh: "Of course." He answered, when Ashley asked if he wanted bubbles. Josh lit a couple of lavender candles before slipping into the tub and inviting his wofe to join him. He promptly pulled her into his lap and wrapped his arms around her middle . "Mmm, me too." The actor answered, leanimg his head back against the wall and closing his eyes. For the first time in a long time, josh was completely relaxed.

She chuckled, remembering the first night they hung out. "Yeah, I remember. Jeff had just left me, and you somehow managed to not only break through the wall, but you fixed my broken heart and made me fall in love with you." she smiled. "You're the best thing to ever happen to me Josh. I have no idea why you fell in love with me, but I'm so glad you did."
Josh: "You're the best thing to ever happen to me, also. When we met. I was just an alcoholic mess. I hate to think of where i would be had we never met. I love you and i love our life and our kids." Josh chuckled and looked directly into Ashley's blue orbs. "You want to know why i fell in lovewith you? Because you are you, plainand simple. You are amazing and there is not a thing about you that i don't like."
