Scribbles and archives about things I love

Hi, Carl, in 2031.

Hi Carl,

Today is Saturday, August 30, 2031. A lot must have evolved with tech by then. 6G would be launching commercially, as with phones that receive those types of signals. Technology will be a lot more advanced -- from cars, to phones, to everyday appliances. The pandemic will be a lot more manageable at this time. Brisbane will host the Olympics in a year. Our country may have gone worse.

How is your family? I hope they are all doing well. Has Papa expanded his business? Has Mama gotten more clients? Have you finished rebuilding your dream home at the current lot? Have you finished paying the other lot?

Are you meeting your friends regularly or having daily conversations with them online? Are some of them playing with you online when you all are free? Are they not purposely leaving you like they did today?

How is your lovelife? Have you found someone to love you more than you could? I genuinely wish you happiness on this. You’d be 38, you need someone to be by your side and share your joy and pain.

Lastly, how are you? Did you still continue your education and graduate with a bachelor’s degree? Were you able to achieve your dreams for WalasTech? Did you start on other ventures as you imagined you would take? Are you still with the new company you’re about to go onboard this time in 2021 and is successful in your position?

Sorry for having so many questions. I wish you can carry on and not etch those feelings of self-pity, loneliness, despair, and guilt in your heart. Find what you love to do more and look into tomorrow with great outlook....

...that is, if you’re still here. Will you live long enough to see this post by then?

2014: A Year of Firsts

This year is almost over, and I look back at the year that gave me the toughest months and the biggest firsts of my life.

Sublevel

The world is often a constant place for open communication. When I found sublevel a few weeks back, I thought I would never like the openness of the product. I was wrong.

Drive

It was fun covering this event last Monday at Makati. Got myself in a mini-shame attack though. I wore the wrong dress code in what was a very classy event (denim shorts, polo shirt, sneakers). Oh well, another lesson learned.

Ford recently launched two new cars: The Explorer Sport and the Escape, both really looking cool from a first person's eye of view. Am really amazed with all the buttons that makes everything automated at the Explorer Sport, and the glossy interiors of the Escape. Check out our articles on Yugatech! We've got some really awesome shots there for you.

Man I wish to have these cool wheels someday, but I gotta learn to drive first. haha.

A week of travels in Metro Manila

I was able to travel to Most of Metro Manila this week, thanks to some events that I attended and errands that my mom asked me to do.

Here are some shots taken from my current mobile phone, a MyPhone A888. I'm still very reluctant to bring my DSLR outside because of security and weight. Nonetheless, my phone takes great shots and is a great everyday companion.

HS Feels

Guuzen To Iu Na No Hitsuzen. Heard this video first on DrumMania at the local arcade. Fell in love with the song. It's the first time I'm actually listening to it in years.

This was sung by ROAD OF MAJOR, a Japanese rock band that was debuted in early 2000s. They had a taste of achievement during their establishment, such as a #2 single, and one of the first indie bands to achieve a #1 record album on Japanese charts.

A decline in popularity followed, and the band decided to part ways in 2007 after years of unsuccessful attempts to reestablish their place in the J-Rock scene. Nonetheless, some of their music can be found on all sorts of media, such as arcade games.

It's fun to rekindle with songs that made up your teenage years. Oh, how I wish I can being those back.
