*SITS ON YOUR ASKBOXES AND ROLLS AROUND* Description? What is that? Bahaha. But, seriously. You're probably only here because you found me from my RP accounts. ^^ Welp, this is my personal. I just spout random stuff most of the time, reblog Ghost Trick, Professor Layton, Phoenix Wright, and countless other fandoms' pictures and stuff...AND PUNS...and that's it, basically. I thought that since all me mates had a personal, I should, too. A lot of my mates call me 'Professor yams' on here now, hence the title change. Also my awesome buddy Floratone - aka the user flukiepoo right now is to thank for my icon of Professor Yams when I use it, not me. Go praise her and her awesome art, okay? Wanna talk about stuff, mate? I love gettin' asks! I'll also give out urls to accounts if you wanna rp and you ask. Currently Roleplaying at Academy Of Despair as Quote, Kerria Academy as Laurent, and con-cordium as Clay Terran MFRP-wise for now! No indie rps going on...yet. I shall re-join the indies when I can though! I also rp as an indie Randall Ascot and Hugh O' Conner when I have time.

Officials assigned the trees ID numbers and email addresses in 2013 as part of a program designed to make it easier for citizens to report problems like dangerous branches. The “unintended but positive consequence,” as the chair of Melbourne’s Environment Portfolio, Councillor Arron Wood, put in an email, was that people did more than just report issues. They also wrote directly to the trees, which have received thousands of messages—everything from banal greetings and questions about current events to love letters and existential dilemmas.

“The email interactions reveal the love Melburnians have for our trees,” Wood said. Here are some emails Arron shared.

Dear Green Leaf Elm,
I hope you like living at St. Mary’s. Most of the time I like it too. I have exams coming up and I should be busy studying. You do not have exams because you are a tree. I don’t think that there is much more to talk about as we don’t have a lot in common, you being a tree and such. But I’m glad we’re in this together.

We briefly interrupt this SU broadcast to bring you some Amaura variations! All + ‘mons from its own egg group.

Bonerattlers and Arctic Seas are shy, but loyal companions. Hibernaters mostly want to be left alone. Frost Mouths are a bit loopy, but they make great pets. Icecubes and Softices are popular for battles and contests, respectively, and Snow Forts are popular with collectors. Crookeds…. do their best.

I personally want a Frost Mouth, it’s like a big stupid pink dog, lookit its lil beady eyes

Reminder about Pokémon Day activities!

In all the Sun/Moon hype, don’t forget that Pokémon Day is tomorrow (Feb. 27th)! Here are a few things going on to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pokémon:

  • at Gamestop, if you purchase something Pokémon-related you can get a poster, they also have various sales on Pokémon merchandise [ more info ]
  • Toys R Us will be giving out a poster, special Pikachu and Magikarp promo cards, and an activity book to visitors. Their site says they are for children only, however this could depend on the attitudes of the staff
  • Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow can be downloaded in the 3DS eshop for $10
  • a New 3DS with Pokémon-themed face-plates, and 3 colors of 2DS, all with a generation 1 game download will be available for purchase
  • the official Pokémon Twitch channel will be hosting an event starting at 1 PM EST, then at 9 PM EST they’ll be hosting a 24-hour marathon of the anime
