Things lately
• I haven't been in this place for long. I do miss tumblr, but I guess when you are busy doing stuff and things there is not a lot of time left to check your phone. • Make up school is going great. I've already learnt so much and there is only a lot more to come. I'm so happy. It is intense, but I love it. Theory class and demos in the mornings and practice in the afternoons. The entire day of school Monday - Friday. • Suiz has found his internship that is starting in March. I'm so happy and proud of him. • The winter is starting already. Holy fuck it's cold! Guys, really how do you do this every year? This is my first real winter and I can't stand the cold. And it's not even that cold here in Paris. Any advice? • My pain from my back problems translated into leg pain. Like the entire nerve on my leg hurts. It's been two weeks. I can't walk straight, if I sit for too long it hurst, if I stand for too long it hurts, if I lay down for too long it hurst. It basically hurts all the time. I'm taking some mild papi pills, I'm applying heat. Nothing works. Any advice? • We are going back home for the holidays. I'm actually really exited. I miss my family a lot. I miss my friends too. • So has anything happened around Tumblr? What have I missed? Xoxo
When you have all of the back pain
But you don't have real pain killers. And you can't rest. And you need to continue with your regular week which include doing a full makeup and hair for photoshoot. Another makeup tomorrow, a group of 5 models for a runway. Bar hoping in Friday and zombie walk on Saturday. And you just feel like death.
Just a quick halloween update because I've been very quiet here on Tumblr lately. First pic Suiz and I for Halloween. I was a Catrina Skull and he was Jack Sparrow. We went out for drinks with friends. Second pic is this shots we had at a bar. There looked like Toni witches' cauldrons. Third pic is a Halloween make up I did in makeup school. We had a lot of people walking in and asking for different things for Halloween. It was fun. I'm very happy how this make up turned out. Have a great Monday guys!
You may get this question all the time, and I apologize in advance if so, but I would like to know what it is like to live in Paris. I was there for 3 days, 3 years ago in August, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The entire time there my heart was racing and I felt so alive. To be able to live there must be really something special. Please tell me it is everything I imagine it would be.
Hey! Actually I haven't got that question before so thanks for asking. To give you a short answer: Living in Paris is fantastic.
As you say the city just makes you feel alive! But also in a very relaxed kind of way. I find that for a big city and one of the world's capitals, it has a very relaxed ambience. Yes, of course there is people rushing and running around in the metro, there is busy streets where people want to run you over, but most of the city the pace is calm. The nice cafes, people enjoying a good cup of coffee or a beer in the patios, just enjoying a meal. It makes you feel calm. Like you have all the time in the world.
There is also the fact that the amount of culture in the city is amazing. You can find anything and everything. From museums, to opera, to street style, everything. And I really love that. For a cultural city to be diverse and not just focus on one aspect of culture it just amazing.
And there is the food. Oh my god the food! French food everywhere, and food of the world! From every country you can possibly imagine. I'm in love with food and I'm so glad I get to try so many different things.
Only downside? Prices. Oh my god everything is really expensive... (except for the wine and cheese).
What can I say? Im really glad we took the decision to come to Paris. Its an amazing place.

First day of class! This is my make up bag and it's filled with so many goodies! I'm so exited. The day was good. The institute looks very nice, they explained everything and it was good. But it's still in French. You guys I could understand everything the teacher was explained... Until the students started to introduce themselves... I couldn't understand a single word... Fuck it's hard. At one point the girl sitting next to me said something to me. I didn't understand anything and just smiled, nodded and looked away. She was probably asking for a pen. So I got that going for me. This is going to be hard. But I'm exited!
I wanna bake some great chocolate chip cookies tomorrow
Any recipe you guys know and love? Nothing to overly complicated or with difficult to get ingredients.
It was time for a needed change in my hair. Deep red now. I like it. It might be too red, but it will probably wash away soon enough.

Quick question
To those of you who have teenage daughters, sisters or nieces. Who are positive teenager idols at the moment? Body image wise. My little sister who is 13 is here visiting us in Paris. As part of us 'bonding' she's been showing me what artists she likes. She has this big obsession at the moment that she thinks she is fat. She is not, she is a normal teenager, but keeps calling herself fat all the time. Most of the girls she's showed me, like Ariana Grande for example, are really skinny and look unhealthy. I want to show her what other normal girls look like and that they are still cool and look pretty. But I don't know what's cool for teenage girls. HELP!
