The older you get, the more quiet you become. Life humbles you so deeply as you age. You realize how much nonsense you’ve wasted time on.
Beware of jealousy, for verily it destroys good deeds the way fire destroys wood. (Abu Dawud)

It’s only when you detach yourself from certain aspects of this life that you’ll truly feel at peace.
Hello, Police? I accidentally stepped on my cats foot and need to be arrested
Don’t be deceived by praises people lavish on you. If you let them get to your head, it’ll be the start of your downfall. Stay humble.

What do you love most about Islam?
That no matter how far you’ve gone, He will always be there waiting for you to turn back to Him. And when you do, He will open His doors of love and mercy. And when you taste the sweetness of Imaan, you wonder why you ever deprived yourself of such a blessing.
Even the devil knows who created him, yet man chooses to deny the Most High.
Nowadays we forget why we listen to the Quran. The Quran was sent down to be reflected upon, implemented and understood. It’s not just a pretty voice that you listen to.
We look back and find that most of our problems are created because we’re trying to find permanent relief in a temporary world.

As you grow older you’ll realise that one of the most important things in life is your family. May Allah protect them.
“I find it so hard to grasp the concept that someone somewhere is taking their very last breath this precise second/moment. When someday somewhere, it’ll be our turn to take our last breath.”
