i ship layhan because of how dorky and adorable they are together and how they always seem so happy together and the things they say about each other and i just really adore them
my favorite moment between them was the airport moment where luhan was taking care of yixing and making sure the fans didn't push him and how he kept his arm around him but there is also the moment when yixing was crying about winning an award and the fan video and luhan was comforting him and how luhan always makes sure that yixing is included in the line up for bowing or for pictures (i just really any moment between them where luhan takes care of yixing because it's so sweet and it just makes me happy)
/whispers and their feather fight was the cutest thing ever and i want to throw them off a cliff for being so nauseatingly adorable

Why Layhan?: I have written this a couple of times but third time's the charm they say:- I think Layhan are very good friends who do not need to be all over each other to keep being friends. They still are quite attentive in their own ways...like during SMA 2014 when Luhan was choking or coughing or whatever at their table and Yixing started patting his back...then Luhan poured out a drink for Yixing as well... they are no longer "in your face" about their friendship… I love that they leave each other be but then naturally gravitate towards each other in any situation. I like that even though Yixing enjoys some alone time on occasion, Luhan keeps bringing him back into the centre of things (MAMA era in particular and more subtly now in interviews).

Why I Ship Layhan
Ahh well their friendship is just too obvious to ignore tbh. You can tell by how they act around each other that they have a natural bond and that they’re really close friends. It just makes me so happy to see them interact because I know it’s all real. ahh idk they’re practically soul mates in my eyes. I just- I’ve never really felt this way about any other ship. All romance and imagination aside, they’re basically the best of friends who would want to live together or go on a deserted island with because it’s normal and natural and lol it’s become a habit. Lol but yeah, Layhan is my favorite ship because everything about them is just so genuine and just natural.
My Favorite Moments
I actually made a why you should love layhan ppt ;w; and umm I just really love all their moments so much, but some of my favorites are when luhan waited for yixing at the airport, when the mc called them a perfect match since they had romantic talks, luhan hugging yixing when they won the award and crying ;w; and ahh that back hug as their punishment on sstp, also when luhan is the first to notice when yixing is in pain and help him, when they talked across the room in sstp.. I literally could go on, but I if do, I don't think I would be able to stop. ;w;

Why do you ship Layhan?: Because their friendship is the most precious thing I've seen in kpop. They're so alike, and yet so different, so they complement each other. They prove that they don't have to always be together to be best friends - they understand and know each other in and out. I just think they have the perfect friendship; affectionate, playful and caring.
What's your favorite Layhan moment?: are you serious how can you make me pick only one? It's impossible. How about in every single interview, when they just whisper quietly to each other and then start laughing at the exact same time. Or when they walk together at the airports, protecting each other. Or when they pull pranks on each other and act like two idiots. How about when they hug and comfort each other, because whether it's happiness or sadness, they share it.
There are way too many. I just can't. But one of the moments I absolutely adore is when Yixing's was injured/tired (I think it was his waist?) and Luhan immediately walked over to him after rehearsal to make sure he was okay.

omg i hope there isn't a word limit on these things otherwise i'll die but these two have been ruining my life since 2012 help me I like to think of myself as a realistic person: I'm a k-pop fan, but unconsciously, I constantly remind myself of the almost torture these idols go through both during their trainee days (especially so for the chinese trainees) and during their 7 or whatever years in an idol group. This is their job; the more popular they are, the better. They know fanservice will make the fans go crazy about them, and bring popularity to them, so they do it all the time. And as you can see from the xiuhan tag (lol this isnt going public so i can bag them all i like), fangirls get sucked in so easily (it's hilarious to watch actually). But despite 2 years of watching ships come and float away, layhan have always been there, side by side, telling little jokes into each others' ears, throwing knowing faces to eachother across tables; standing a little ways behind the group on stage; quietly together. yixing suffers in this industry. he hurts his knees, waist, ankles, back, and he'll keep hurting himself as long as he can stand up on stage. but luhan will gently pick him up every time. apparently lu piggy-backed him all the way to hospital when dumbxing insisted on staying back till 3 am. also according to a nurse, lu spoon-fed him porridge whilst he was recovering (internally cries a bit). so it's the fact that, in this horrible industry, i know as a worrying xingmi that our yixing has a genuine best friend that is almost always a couple of meters away, that comforts me. perhaps by a common feeling of homesickness or endearment, they gravitated together, and i really hope both of them are aware of the weight of the pull. because when you look at them individually, they really do seem to be opposites. luhan is nervous in front of the camera, like a deer. he hides his feelings. he's always active, as if he's waiting for a heavenly signal to fly away at any instant. yixing is slow (except on the dancefloor (((and in bed probably)))), gets sad easily, but is as gentle and patient as a bamboo plant. they're exactly opposite eachother on the horoscope wheel (if you're into that stuff). yet they are not oil and water, or liquid unable to penetrate a bird's feathers, falling without touching. they are ying and yang, fitting together perfectly. even the north and south poles are held together by the force of gravity. there is a pull. yixing keeps luhan from flying off into nowhere, a solid anchor, and luhan keeps yixing's heart up in the clouds. they are soulmates in the most basic sense. i'm not falling into the 'ship' delusion here: their souls genuinely compliment each other, and that's the most important thing. that's why when i see them doing dumb things together, i feel a new wave of relief wash over me every time, because i think yes, good, they're still best friends. they still have each other.ohmy god i have so much to say but i need to

If I HAD to choose one though, then it would be 120608; when they had ice-cream and judged lol This was probably the first Layhan moment I found and the one that actually introduced me to the ship <3
