Shinkai: When I play hide-and-seek with Juichi and I'm It, whenever I call out "The one who's very good at responding, Fukutomi Juichi-kun!" he raises his hand and pops outs saying "Here!" looking greatly pleased every time, so I have never lost this game once.

*Fun trivia: In Japan, the person who's "It" is called "the demon."

*“The moon is beautiful tonight” is a phrase that became famous after Natsume Soseki translated it that way from “I love you.”

Manami: "Takenoko-no-sato (Bamboo village) is clearly better than Kinoko-no-yama (Mushroom mountain), so I think it would be a great idea to stop producing Kinoko-no-yama altogether." Toudou: "If the mountains die, the villages die too... That's the law of nature."

Shinkai: "Phew, I finished eating the same number of ehomaki as my age... I wonder who came up with that custom." Arakita: "You."

[During setsubun, you're supposed to eat the same number of beans as your age, not an entire sushi roll per years in your age.]

Mizuta: Today, the club was divided on who likes mushrooms and who likes bamboo shoots, and when I said to Ishigaki-san, "It's a war," he said back with a smile, "Eh, why? If you eat the variety pack, there won't be any fighting. It'll be peaceful," and I thought, Ah... He's so cool...

[People's opinions divide between "Kinoko-no-yama" (Mushroom mountain) and "Takenoko-no-sato" (Bamboo village) Meiji chocolates.]
