Exceptionally stunning paintings by Polish artist Agnieszka Nienartowicz who says of her work, “A key element of some of the paintings are portions of other works from the past eras incorporated into them, whether in the form of a background, an attribute or as a composite element with the character themselves (even in the form of a painting on the subject’s body). The works I choose, though being mere objects, seem alive to me as they bear witness to the thoughts of their authors and the times in which they were created. By appropriating fragments of these works, I establish a kind of dialogue with their authors, transferring the inseparable thought behind those paintings to my own canvas. At the same time, placing them in a completely new context, I deprive them of their original meaning and transform them into an artifact. This ambiguity is what I love.”

Landscape & Nature Photography Prints - Tordis Kayma

“In the early hours of the day when the first rays of sun start to fill the sky, a morning mist takes effect, transforming the German forest into a landscape rich with inspiration for Tordis Kayma. He wanders nature taking atmospheric shots of forest landscapes, foggy mountains, and northern night skies. The dramatic lighting and evocative mists and haze of the conifers capture the true sense of nature’s majesty.
Growing near a national park, Kayma’s passion for nature started at a young age, originating in childhood and developing into a lifelong pursuit. Now living in Berlin, the photographer continues to capture the misty mountains and valleys that filled his youth, exhibiting the beauty of the wild with his impressive stills.” site
