Hey everybody! It would mean the world to me if you would check out this gofundme for my Grandmother. She has gone through so much lately and is down on her luck. Her roof is full of holes and it has not been replaced since her grandfather built it. I would really like to get her a new roof before winter. Her air/heat is broke and it would help a lot to have a solid roof! She means the world to me and I just want her to have a little peace of mind.

Someone with a social anxiety disorder will never get tired of hearing you say:
“I’m here for/with you” “I like you” “I love you” “I value you as a person” “Your opinions matter to me” “I’ll go with you if it’s too scary” “No matter what your anxiety tells you I’m not going anywhere” “Your feelings are valid”
Especially when they’re anxious Especially when they’re anxious Especially when they’re anxious
Even if you’ve already said it. Say it again. And again. Please. Cause it may seem silly to someone without S.A.D., but it’s actually really reassuring to be reminded of having support even if we were just reminded last week, or last month, or yesterday. It’s important. Really important. Cause the anxiety will often lead us to feel alone, unloved, like the person might go away if we share our feelings, even when we know it’s not true. It’s a million times easier to be convinced by someone else than by our own anxious brains sometimes.
This has been a PSA.
Also don’t get annoyed when they need the reinsurance. They do believe you but their mind tricks them that what you said isn’t true when they truly know it is, they just can’t control it.

Olaf had a lump on his chest, the vet took a sample and sent it off to find out what it is... It came back as a cancerous cell. A cell that wasn't cancer quite yet. The vet wanted to get the cell out of Olaf before it it became cancer in his body and spread. The vet had surgery and took the cell out. After surgery they took the cell and sent it off the the vet school (Mississippi State University) near by and they did some tests on it. They came back and told the vet were are going through the cancer did actually develop. They told the vet she needs to go back in and scrape the entire wound. They need to scrape a diameter of 6inches around the existing wound. Then he has to go 6 weeks for chemotherapy and at that point they will reassess Olaf to see if it worked or not. They are worried it may spread to his kidneys, liver, lungs, and heart. So the vet wants to make sure they check those areas to make sure it hasn't spread. So that is something they are going to have to monitor. Olaf's my best friend! Please help if you can!
