i think the beautiful thing about kim & other characters we see nothing of in the series is how everyone’s idea & view & characterization of that one character can be so different & all of these versions & writings of this character are still so cool & valid & honestly it’s what i love about rp ( not to be cheesy rn )

he has to fight back a grin . this is serious , he has seen kim playing pokemon beside him in class since he can remember . as if everyone else can’t see her . another reason she has him smitten - she doesn’t care . unlike jared who cared about everything anyone ever thought about him at school & otherwise . ‘ jolteons and all the eevee evolutions are nothing to joke about . ’ it’s his turn to be offended - turning his eyes ( reluctantly ! ) from her face to his game . his heart speeds should he ask ? ‘ i’ll trade you mine . ’ he finally spits out - wanting more than anything to see her smile . just once - from an action he caused . ‘ i mean so you don’t have to go through the trouble . . ’ he begins rambling as he glances at her and away again - free hand going to his hair as he ruffles the back of it . ‘ and since i already found one i can just find a new one . ’ a lie . but he’d gladly give his affectionately named raichu rico ’ up for her .
on her list of things she ever figured she'd talk to him about , her favorite topic of choice was certainly NOT one of them . she can't help but notice ( & fall a little more for ) the tone in his voice , him meeting her step for step in interest on pokemon , of all things . kim was definitely going to pinch herself when this conversation was over ! ❝ oh , i'm not saying they are ! i've just come to want one electric evolution over another & my stone is gone , used on an eevee evolution i don't care as much for as the others . ❞ her fingers pause over her screen , head SNAPPING UP as the words hit her . maybe you should pinch yourself now , she randomly thinks as she meets his gaze , the same gaze she felt herself sinking into a few days ago . ❝ that’s . . . so kind of you jared but ! i couldn’t ! it’s your raichu fair & square & i’ll just hunt one down myself . i’m heading up to port angeles this weekend anyways & i’m sure i’ll have more luck there than here , so no worries ! ❞ she tries to smile at him but can’t help but feel it’s more a grimace , her heart beating much too fast at the whole situation she’d found herself in .
