Anonymous asked:

Kurama has now passed away from a brutal injury during your absence. How do you take it?

((oh my....this could work for either Kurama that Husky has come into contact with))

"Huh?" Husky asked the anon as he took a moment to process the words being told from him. Kurama had been injured and then died? At first, he only brushed it off. That statement was just silly. It was Kurama after all. "You gotta be lying!"

Husky knew he had to be. There was just no other explanation for it. His other half, the one with silver hair, would never let Kurama die. He had told Husky so himself. But Husky had went by kurama's house earlier to say hello and the other was not there. Suddenly an ice cold feeling settled at the pit of his stomach. Could the anon have been telling the truth?

Suddenly Husky felt numb to the world around him. No, he could not lose someone again. He had already seen someone die during his travels, but he had hardly known the person. This was someone he had grown close to. Kurama wouldn't just leave Husky on his own right?

Within moments the numbness was turned into a firer anger pointed at the anon. "You're lying!" He shouted at the anon as tears pricked his face. "He's strong and he wouldn't-"

The tears flowed down his face freely as he crumbled to the floor, sobs racking his body. He tried to keep it in, to keep the rage he felt at the anon, but what if it was all true. He was once again alone. He didn't want to be alone. He wanted to see the red hair somewhere with the usual calming voice Kurama provided. Husky hiccuped as he sat there, trying to calm himself down to try and think through it all. But there was just no logical explanation. Was the anon right?

Husky reverted to his dog form without his knowledge and curled up on himself, trying to give himself comfort, not wanting to move from the spot. He was left alone once before when someone died, he didn't want to go through all that again. Please, he thought as he curled up even tighter, please be okay

Husky looked about him in afternoon sun. It was rather hot for a summer day, and it did not bode well for the pup. He hated the heat and always overheated thanks to it. On this occasion, he found some shade under a tree but wondered if there was going to by any wind today, or would be just be dry and hot. Tongue hanging out the side of his mouth, he tried to cool himself.

(( Husky-mun, Husky-mun, Husky-mun, Husky-mun~ *tackles* ))

The sylph yawned, a bit tired from the warmth. Summer… it wasn’t his favorite time of the year, but it had its perks as well. Well, there was no point in drifting slowly. Speed would keep him and others cool. Ciar grinned, speeding up and soaring a bit closer to the ground, the cooler wind that followed him rustling the treetops. He saw young children squealing with delight as they ran through water. He never understood it, but humans seemed to enjoy water when it was warm out.

Ciar continued flying, a pleasant smile on his face as he watched the people below. Then he caught sight of a dog. Now, this normally wouldn’t have caused him pause, but dogs were generally accompanied by their humans. And this one wasn’t. The sylph tilted his head, flitting a bit closer and lightly touching his focus stone. It wouldn’t take much for the husky to see him; animals were always a bit more sensitive to the presence of sylph. “… Hello, young one. Are you enjoying the weather?”

A few meters away from Husky, were another dog and someone playing with a frisbee. But Husky only laid his head back down onto the cool grass. Had been to this park a few times and the humans had learned that he would never do anything to the other dogs or go after their toys.  It was while he was yawning when he heard someone speak. Sleepily, he glanced around to find a stranger asking him about the weather. At first he wondered if perhaps it was rhetorical question since he was a dog, but then he noticed that this person wasn't like the normal human. Still panting, Husky only cocked his head to the side. Of course he wasn't necessarily enjoying the hot summer sun, but the shade was nice enough he supposed. Getting to his paws, he padded forward to sniff at the stranger.

"Souji?" Husky asked as his mun nodded. "I like him lots! He says weird things sometimes, but he generally puts up with my questions. He has this really cool sword too! Apparently I'm not supposed to be on the compound where he lives, but he doesn't really care either way."

"Just the other week he let me go with him on one of his 'rounds', whatever those are for. But told me not to come during the night before something bad happens. People seem to think he's not very nice, but he is! Oh! I remember that one time he shared something called 'dango' with me- even if it was someone else's."

"Hmmm, over all I really love hanging out with him! I never get bored. I hope I don't bother him too much, or ask too many stupid questions when I don't understand something. But I generally have fun."

Sniffing around, he found himself in need of someone to play with. He needed to stretch his legs and hopefully get some exercise. He had a frisbee in his mouth and wanted nothing more than to play.

"Well look who it is. How’s it going Husky? It’s been a while." The man chuckled as he took the frisbee from his mouth. "I assume you want to play. Okay, I think I have time." Petting him over the head, his ears flopped around. "Alright. Ready? Fetch!" His arm wound up before flinging the disc out in the open.

Husky panted at being pet on the head, but went to chase after the frisbee that was thrown. He caught it mid-air, proud of himself for still being able to do it. He turned toward Rage and padded up to him. Once he was close enough, he crouched down and wagged his tail a little. Husky wasn't about to give up the frisbee so easily.

Tail flicking about for a moment, he caught the scent of someone familiar but had not seen in a very long time. Following it he wondered if he had perhaps caught and old trail of sorts.

He’d been walking through the park after a year long mission, indifferent to be home— save for the idea of seeing his mother again— when Kurama smelled a familiar scent. It couldn’t be… could it?"Volug?" He called for his old pet.

Husky ears perked up slightly as they caught the sound of his name being called. Looking up and around him, he saw the familiar red head that he hadn't seen in a very long time.

His tail wagged a thousand miles an hour as he sprang forward to Kurama. How long had it been since he had seen the other? With all the excitement, he barked happily before jumping and changing forms. He clung onto the other and licked his cheek. Husky wasn't sure whether to cry or to just continue clinging on to him, completely forgetting that he had no clothes on.

"Kurama!"

(I would gladly switch weathers with you because I cannot stand the heat. XD It's so great to see you and Husky again. I'll be getting to your ask in a bit and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow. <3)

((take your time sweetie XD I'm in no rush. Besides I was dragged away yesterday by a very needy little cousin who is only 7. Now Mama Husky is very sore and just wants to sleep on a very comfy bed))
