we might want to distinguish the term ‘homestuck porn’. when we are talking about fanart then the answer is clear: go for it. a drawing is except for your personal design an unpersonal piece of art. it could have been done by anyone. it cannot be necessarily linked to you.

I’m also a huge fan of fanservice, I admit that. this however is limited to making out sessions with having clothes on. as a huge shipper a cute cosplay picture or video in which two charcters show their love is great. plus: I call myself a passionate cosplayer and I’d lie if I said that I wouldn’t do much for cosplay. I would do almost anything. refering to fan service videos is the best example. I’d do a lot for that and I already did. BUT here’s the point: the keyword is induction. it means: when you watch a movie and you see two people kissing really hard and they go to a hotel room leaving the viewer outside. induction tells you that they’ll sleep with each other. you don’t have to see it. and here we have the border if you will. we are talking about both cosplay videos and pictures. if you imply the following smut then you create a nice cinematic trick. but as soon as you show dem boobies or the act itself then you have porn. and this is where my openness stops. yes, we live in the 21. century and yes the right to do the things that you want is given. but we might consider that this is the internet and that there aren’t only nice teenage homestuck fans who wants to adore your canon jade boobies (you already see the irony). we also have people here who are up to mischief. and it wouldn’t go out of my head if the little hearts given under the pictures of my genitals are there because some random 40 year old wants to save it up for later. if you know what I mean… and what am I talking about. he doesn’t have to be 40 years old. I couldn’t stand it to freely show my body as a wanking material for ANYONE. I mean skin showing cosplays are great and sexy poses on pics are fun but common, your genitals aren’t called private parts for nothing. even if your intention is innocent, to think that your pictures won’t be misused is naive.
