GEO Wearing black and white is an immediate way to look classy and stylish without having to try. Some say having no colors is boring, but if it's boring, play it up with patterns! This geometric print takes this short sleeved button up to something much more exciting than if it were a simple white shirt. I matched it with a collar stay to finish the look. IRIS featuring keeping-love and Craig Sibley

I love the striking colors of the Iris. The violet and blue combination of cool colors is vibrant, bold and wild. I dyed keeping-love's hair with a violet and lavender and styled her in a black ensemble with accents that are neutral, complementing her wild locks.

Special thanks to the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art ( www.OCCCA.org ) for allowing me usage of its Gallery for this shoot.

and to Craig Sibley ( http://craigsibley.com ) for letting me feature his amazing artwork.

see Craig Sibley’s exhibition Ein Gesamtkunstwerk at OCCCA now.

CONTRAST I have to admit, I have a weakness. A vice, you can say to contrasting colors and different pieces. Here I styled dayvidnewyen in a LAST KINGS 3/4 Color Block Raglan that has a very stark black and white detailed design, definite ly a statement-making shirt without being too obnoxious. I paired him with Forever 21 Dropcrotch Joggers and finished him with the brilliant and bold Red Cesario X by Creative Recreation. A little pop of color can really take an outfit to the next level. ALL GOLD EVERYTHING

Gold all on my chain. Gold all on my ring. All Gold Everything.

One of my favorite color combinations is Black and Gold. It immediately brings to mind royalty, richness, rappers and Hip Hop music. The Ancient Egyptians had something right going on with their extravagance when it comes to Gold. You can keep it simple, but I prefer to take it to the top and put gold on everything. Guaranteed to turn heads, and break necks, that’s what passersby did when I was shooting my good friend dayvidnewyen.

INHALE/EXHALE If you are unsure what to wear on your next outing, breathe easy because nothing is more understated and at the same time statement-making than a black and white ensemble. Turning heads and catching eyes will not be a problem in this outfit. Using patterns and layers to accentuate the monochromatic scheme will have you let out a sigh of relief when you look in the mirror and realize, "Oh, I'm not basic at all." Top: Underated Co.
