i will support taylor no matter what direction she takes her music, any day any night, but god this style just feels like it was truly made for her lyricism and her vocals. something about it all is just melting me so sweet and i could just swim in this warm ocean of beautiful short stories all day

this is such a beautiful album to carry into my 20’s, especially in a time so uncertain and terrifying. It’s like a lifetime packed into sixteen songs. in a way this album feels like taylor is lending her hand and saying “follow me...I’ve been here, we’ve got this”

i swear SOMEONE better be ready to analyze these songs i’m too dumb for this shit

the fact that we won’t hear The Lakes for another 2-4 weeks

anyone else feeling like the album might be less radio friendly? like i don’t think it’s a pop album and judging on the song titles it feels kinda poetic to me as well?
