It was the taste, it was almost as if it crawled from her stomach and settled on the back of her tongue. Strapped to machines left and right, the brunette couldn’t help but feel something strike her gag reflect, forcing her to sit up and attempt to gag out the bile that had rose inside of her.

It had been so long since the i n c i d e n t, so long since he knew that Abigail Hobbs had seen daylight; he wondered how long it would be until the grip of life itself grasped her, pulling her to consciousness. If only he had gotten there sooner----. The noise of gagging and choking followed an inhale; sharp, almost desperate, and he sits up, moving to the beside of the young woman and helping her remove the tube from her throat as quick as he could--.
