Look at what my friend made me. It’s so pretty!

I refuse to believe that this isn’t pretty enough for anybody to like or reblog. Come on, I paid $20 for this. Appreciate the work @missstephh did for me!

Ahh! You posted this :)

And technically, there should be one more line at the top of her hairline, any further Beauty and the Beast wall murals will have the correct pattern.

Your $20 is very much appreciated, although I am attempting to sell this one and I’ll make you the proper patterned one if this one sells before I get home. With that, we only need another $594.65 before we can go on our educational field trip.

The tissue boxes are doing well, I just had one not commissioned bought today so that’s nice. Here’s hoping we’re finished fundraising for this trip before February!

So this is happening... @faithoshauntasy what do you think about this? I missed on one line for the top of Belle’s hair but otherwise it’s the pattern you sent me.

Not sure what the price will be at the end of it but the cost goes towards my students’ educational field trip. We need around $650 left before we can afford to go on the trip. In case any of your friends are interested in purchasing something like this. :)

By the end of the week, I should be bald. If I’m lucky.

I just need to figure out how much to charge per section for the kids to cut off.

We still need about $1400 for our trip to go ahead. And then there’s the fundraising to do for our end of the year trip.

I have news about the Tardis tissue box covers!

@missstephh is making two right now. One for @endangeredslug is almost done (you were taking one that was partially done to save on shipping, yes? She only needs to connect the parts she’s connecting and then package it up for you) and the other one has two sides (out of five) done right now.

If anybody would like to purchase the other one, it should be ready to go sometime next week.

When you talk about how to attach the pieces and your friend thinks that it’s ‘almost done’ ... I have completed the lighter blue and most of the white. I still have to do all the darker blue and then the ‘Police Box’ over top of the dark blue on each side. Then I have to attach them.

But @endangeredslug wanted it for Christmas so it will totally be done with lots of time to ship and allow her to procrastinate on finishing it up. I should be finished both Tardis tissue box covers by the end of next week because I like doing all the same colours at once.

Now I just need to figure out what other tissue box covers to make. I’m thinking Minions but Frozen will probably sell a lot better than Minions.

Look at this pretty tissue box cover @missstephh made.

She’s attempting to raise funds for her class to go to Science North in Sudbury. If you are interested in this or something like it, let her know and she can make it for you!

Also, she’s got fridge magnets made out of plastic canvas for sale too. Would anybody be interested in seeing those?

This money goes to her students so that they can experience an educational field trip. Thanks a bunch!

Oh you posted this!

Yes, I’m pretty good at plastic canvas and can make most things. Tissue box covers, magnets of all kinds, welcome signs, and other decorations.

If anybody would like to get something special made, please let me know.

My students (along with another class in my school) are attempting to go to Science North. The school is located in a semi-isolated First Nation community that is about four and a half hours away from Sudbury. And if you know anything about young children, we need to build in a lot of bathroom breaks so because we will likely take six hours just to get to the city, we have to get there the day before and spend the night there in order to make the most of our visit. The school is willing to pay for the tickets to Science North (which is about $900 given the options we are asking for) but cannot afford to pay for the cost of the bus, emergency vehicle, gas, hotel rooms, and food for the journey. That cost is sitting at around $2,450 right now.

We have been fundraising in the community so far and we have about $500 right now. But it would be much easier if I could get access to money outside of the community because there isn’t a lot of money within the community.

Once I figure out how to post pictures, I can post some of the pictures of the Halloween themed fridge magnets I’ve made.

I’m awesome at paying attention to this.

I’ve been so busy that I didn’t even really think that people would start following me. Sorry!

Busy getting the new house in order as well as trying to organize some fundraising items so that my class can go to Science North this year.

Realizing that I’ve got a hundred things to do and that nothing was open today was very stressful.

Need to see my doctor, get my prescription refilled, pack for Rumbelle Rally, and about a hundred other things that are really minor in comparison but I need to have done before I leave on Thursday. This is not fun.

How did I forget about the holiday?? Well, other than the fact that it doesn’t feel like it’s August already...

Sigh. I don’t know if my dishwasher is merely plugged and therefore salvageable or if it needs to be replaced. I mean, I’m going to replace it eventually, but I wasn’t planning for eventually to be now.

Shawn’s on the let’s just replace it bandwagon so QUICK POLL!!

We will eventually be gutting out the kitchen to the studs, but that’s not for at least another year (at the very least) and I haven’t decided if I’m going to do all white or all stainless steel appliances. The kitchen cabinets will most likely be a warm white (walls will probably be on the the greener side of greeny-blue and pretty pale, but I MIGHT CHANGE MY MIND TWELVE TIMES by the time this actually happens).

What get?

Do what costs you less

I’d rather pay more and get something that lasts longer and is energy efficient.

Get the best quality for the cheapest cost then. Compare the energy efficiency rating and all that jazz to how much each unit costs. Stainless steel will be better in the long run with any stains you get on it than a white one, but if you are just looking for the best energy efficient machine for the cost, go with that. The stores should be able to help you with that.

It’s somehow fitting that my first post is a picture of me at Mr. Gold’s shop, right?

This vacation is amazing!
