It debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and became her fourth album to sell over a million copies in the US on it’s first week of release. Taylor is the only artist in history to have 4 albums sell over a million copies in one week.

i am super SUPER excited to go to your closing show of the north american leg of the reputation stadium tour on saturday, october 6th at the AT&T stadium in arlington, texas!!! i have been a fan of yours since the day that the teardrops on my guitar released on radio disney when i was in 3rd grade!
i want to hug you in person just to tell you how much your music means to me because your albums have been there for me during the highest of highs and the lowest of low points in my life. shall we list some examples?
- october 22, 2012: your album red had released this day and i was SO PUMPED for it that i stayed up all night just to listen to it all the way through. however, my dad came home early from work with the news that he had lost his job because of the economic crisis. it was a hard time for my family (though i am so blessed that my incredible, hardworking mom was working and supported our family) and for me especially, because i had just started high school and was having a hard time fitting in. my dad eventually found a much better job and everything worked out, but your raw, unfiltered songs on that album helped me through all of that and it holds such a special place in my heart.
- october 17, 2015: fast forward to a much happier time in my life!! i had just turned 17, gone to my first school dance ever, and had the time of my life fighting dragons with you at the 1989 tour <3 the surprise song was “fifteen” for my show, and let me tell you how i felt hearing that during my senior year of high school….you showed up just in time :’)
- november 10, 2017: it was the release weekend for reputation AND that was the day i traveled to chicago all by myself to audition for the last round of college jeopardy! although i didn’t make it past the final round, your courage and resilience inspired to me to take risks and challenge myself every day.
- october 6, 2018: (this one’s a doozy) even though i didn’t know who i was supposed to be at 15, i do now that i’m 19! i finally realized my true calling in life, and it is the field of medicine, more specifically pediatrics! i am currently stuDYING for the mcat, which is the medical school entrance exam, and i am taking it on September 1st. i would love nothing more than to celebrate (hopefully) those results with my best friend, which is YOU!
i will be attending with my cousin AND my 12 year old sister who just might love you as much as i do! it’s my sister’s first concert and she could not be happier that it’s yours she gets to attend!
we’re sitting in section 121, row 13, seats 10-12. these seats are FATE because your birthday is on december 13th (our section/row number) and my birthday is on october 12th (our seat numbers)!!! see you in arlington mom <3

i’ve had this blog since 2013 and i’ve been a taylor fan for even longer. i’ve changed so much in these last five years and i’m so so grateful i’ve had your words to help me through relationships, breakups, friendships, family issues, high school…the list goes on and on.
and it seems like we’re both doing better than we ever were!! i’m ecstatic to be starting @ notre dame in the fall (and even more ecstatic that austin’s an alum!)

hi @taylorswift!!! this is me and one of my best friends in the world maggie and we’re so excited to see you at soldier field on june 1st!! we’re both seniors and our show is less than ONE WEEK after we graduate high school so it’s about to be the best week of my life.
i’ve loved you since i was 13 and i really feel like you are part of my coming of age story. from friend problems to panic attacks to breakups to crushes to my first kiss and first day of high school and now with my last day coming up in just a few weeks, i am so grateful to have been able to have your incredible words in my head as i’ve grown up. i’m so proud of the person i’ve become in these last few years, and i’m super pumped to be attending college at austin’s alma mater (#goirish!). thanks so much for helping me grow!
