My friends just had their first child. He has been diagnosed with Lissencephaly which is a rare and incurable neurological disorder.

"Maybe you remember me with my older sister!" Prim said, her smile still full of hope. "She’s got brown hair, it’s usually in a braid, she has olive skin and grey eyes!" she listed off. Well, everyone looked like that in the Seam but not everyone had a braid in her hair. She just hoped it was enough to go off on.

         Thomas tried to remember someone who          matched her description. He let his eyes          wander the area around him for a moment          before looking back to her and shaking his          head.

                           ❝A braid?❞

         he thought aloud before taking another look          around them. Suddenly something clicked.

                        ❝Oh... Your mother is the healer, right?❞

                         He disappointed him. Maybe even hurt him.                          Newt looked at Thomas’s face as he was                          taking a step back. He didn’t know why he                          acted like that, why he was mean with                          Thomas while he was his friend.                          Newt just felt a rush of anger in his body                          and he couldn’t control it. He followed                          the boy and put his hand on his shoulder.                                            ”I’m sorry Tommy,                                       I’m bloody pissed by all                                        of this, shouldn’t put it                                     on you though. What is it?”

      Thomas had already walked through the door and       was planning on trying to find Minho to talk to. Maybe       he'd listen to his idea. Just as he was about to hop       into a jog, he felt a hand on his shoulder and Thomas       quickly turned around to see the older boy standing there.

                            ❝Oh... No, it's fine, Newt.❞

      he searched Newt's face briefly before continuing.

                 ❝I just... I had an idea, but it's fine. I don't even                   think it's a good one. I think you should relax...                      I can run it by Minho and see what he thinks.❞

          Thomas said and reached over to take the           bread from the plate she slid to him. He had           put down whatever he had been eating           before to bite into the roll.

          he had swallowed his food before speaking.
