“You know in hindsight, I think I preferred it when it was freezing cold. Maybe I should cut my hair again…” 

Sammy coming from a small radio near the hot medic. “I know how you feel starting to miss the cold.”

A small voice soon followed. “Hard to cool me getting wet is horrible. Too bad we don’t have one of those uhhhhh boxes in the window blows cold air?”

“Ja,” Arik nodded his head, “even though the power’s been running smoothly since it was fixed, some things just haven’t worked. First it was the heaters und now air conditioning. I’d try to fix it myself but...well it’s a bit more complicated than the power, und I’m no engineer, that’s for sure.” 

((Note: Mun and muse are not dead, just busy and waiting for another blog to reply that probably won’t but oh well ;-; ))

((Ah no, it was the most recent one that sent me an ask that I posted a reply to! I don’t mind tho, I get how busy life gets, like I said I’ve been busy too and am really coming back to update about it since I’m technically on spring break ;w;))

There was mumbling for a bit and then Nibbles came back on. “Yes! Mama said me and her can come over to help you out!”

Soon in a Hour or so the sound of a motorcycle was out side the PNK Base.

And soon a knock and a female voice coming from the other side “Arik? It’s me Sammy. I am here to help take care of your pest problem.”

A cute small voice came out. “Yea! We have all the supplies we need to take care of anything! EVEN YETIS!”

“Ah! It’s wunderbar to finally meet you in person. Please, come in! I’ve tried to clean up the place as best as I could, though there may be some broken glass I missed from both the window und the frame that broke so do mind your step.” 

He chuckled at the roll’s addition and even the sight of the small bread creature was quite amusing. 

“Hopefully there are no yetis around here, but the main problem is the more small feral animals that keep getting inside. I’ve been able to get the doors working but a good number of windows are broken and I’m sure there are other ways they’re getting in.” 

She nods. “Sounds like not only windows need replacing. We might need to check for open parts in the walls. Always an issue with any red base due to wooden structures.” She soon walks in holding her case. “So what kind of small ferals we talking? If it’s rats I will let Nibbles loose on them.” Nibbles smiles a big toothy grin showing all their sharp pointy teeth. “Yea let me at them!” The roll jumps down off her shoulder and scurries around the two.

“Little roll loves to hunt the rats we found out.” She thinks more. “Unless those feral creatures we are talking are something more like snakes, lizards, or um…Nibbles cousins if you will. All I can handle.” She smirks patting her case full of objects to take down many creatures. “If you want I can show you how to add preventative measures from it happening again.”

“I would love that! The preventative measures I mean. As for the creatures, rats ja, but I have seen a few possums und snakes around. It’s why I haven’t brought my birds back from home yet. That und well, their cages aren’t exactly in working order.” 

He carefully looks around as Nibbles scurries around, careful not to step on or kick the little roll. 

“As for…well..the ‘cousins’ as you say, PNK base never really had a problem with that like some other teams. At least not to my knowledge. But I wish we had! This little one is so fascinating!” 

He kneels down to get a better look at the roll.

“How did you learn to speak, mein kleiner freund?”

Sammy chuckles seeing the medic’s fascination with Nibbles. “I will go check around your base for cracks and stuff and make a list of what we need. Nibbles you watch Arik.” The roll takes out a little nubbin and salutes. “Aye Aye Mama, I mean Commander!”

The roll soon stops that as she left the room and looks at Arik. “So, I was found by mama beside a teleporter. I couldn’t talk for a while then well…one halloween Merasmus came to our base and decided to hit me with magic to make me talk…Mama thinks it was him messing up a spell to make me bigger and mean. or to make me tell my true thoughts on mama, but like I wasn’t mad I love mama. She is a great lady who takes care of me and feeds me and makes little hats for me.” The roll smiles. “She is a great lady!” The roll goes up to the medic. “Thank you for not wanting to dissect me, so many medics want to do that I don’t like it.” The roll flattens when they mention the dissection.

“Oh, I’m sorry little one. It doesn’t come as much a surprise though, you are quite the discovery! But fear not, I would never harm an innocent creature! Enemies, yes, but innocents never!” 

He’s not sure if he should pet the creature or offer a hand (or nub-hand) shake, and instead offers a reassuring smile.

“Und besides! We’re friends! Und friends do not hurt friends, after all. Now, tell me how you solve your rodent problems at home. I hear you’re a proud exterminator, ja?”
