I think my favourite part of this scene (besides the obvious of course) is the idea that Killian has CLEARLY been researching flirting/dating customs common to the realm without magic. Even if they had some kind of sparkling wine in the Enchanted Forest (which is totally possible) it wouldn’t be called “champagne” because it gets its name from the region in France where it’s made (in our realm). Can’t you just picture him reading romance novels in the library so he can impress Emma? At the very least he’s watching TV or talking to someone about it!

I just love it so much.
